Well-known for some incredible fishing so be sure to bring your rods, boat, and jet ski or rent something fun from the local marina.brThe spacebrOur two story house consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the main floor you will find a spacious master suite with king bed, full bathroom, work space, and TV with cable. Also on the main floor there is a queen bedroom, second full bathroom, laundry, open kitchen, and living room. Off the living room enjoy a screened in porch with views of Lake Hartwell. Downstairs is a second queen bedroom, three twin beds, third full bathroom and rec room. Optional sleeping not accounted for include multiple couches and a queen air mattress. The rec room has an air hockey table, dart board, TV with cable, wet bar with mini fridge and popcorn machine for fun and entertaining. Off the rec room is a patio with a gas grill for your outdoor cooking. Outside you will find a shed equipped with water toys such as SUPs and fun floats. An easy walk will take you to our dock where you will find some chairs and fire pit for relaxing and watching all the lake activities.brGuest accessbrThe front door has a code that will be provided so guests can come and go as they please. Guests will have access to the entire house, shed, and dock. Enjoy a relaxing vacation at our waterfront home on a quiet and serene area of the lake with access to 56,000 acres of Lake Hartwell. 4 Queen beds in separate rooms + bunk bed room. Our home is close to Clemson University, Anderson, and Greenville. SC Botanical Gardens, Portman Marina, Broyles Landing, Green Pond Boat Landing/Event Center, and numerous restaurants are just minutes away.br Enjoy lake views as soon as you enter the front door. This single story home features a great room with vaulted ceilings and fireplace and a spacious sunroom with large sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. Watch the game on the 55” flatscreen TV or relax on the large walkout deck with views of the lake. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking family meals that can be enjoyed at the dining table (seats 8) or cook steaks on the grill and eat at one of two outdoor tables on the newly refinished deck. All on one level are 4 bedrooms, including a large master with Queen bed, bay window sitting area, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, smart TV, and en suite bathroom with tub/shower. Two additional large bedrooms with Queen beds and ceiling fans share a full hall bathroom with tub/shower. A 4th large bedroom has a Queen bed with an attached room with a twin size bunk bed and a half bath. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer and iron/ironing board. The front covered porch includes two rocking chairs for relaxing in the evening or you can sit on the back deck and watch the sun set over the water.br The lot is gently sloped to the water where you have access to a newly refurbished single slip covered dock and sun deck with lounge chairs for sunbathing and a swing for relaxing. The dock is on a quiet area of the lake and has a ladder and deep water (13’ at full pool) for swimming. When the water levels are lower there is also a beach area available. We have fishing gear available if you want to secure a fishing license and like to fish. 2 kayaks (with life vests) are available for you to enjoy. Bring your own boat or rent a boat or jet ski from one of several boat rentals on the lake. Visit one of many parks on the lake. There is a new water park and beach on the lake (Shores of Asbury) 2 miles from the house. The lowest bridge going to the house has 8.5-ft clearance at full pool.br The house has a perfect location off popular Clemson Boulevard (Hwy 76) near exit 19 off I-85 with numerous restaurants. We are 15 minutes to Clemson University, perfect for visiting the kids, attending baseball or football games, going to graduation or orientation. Anderson University is just 20 minutes away. The quaint area of Pendleton has shops and restaurants right up the road. Downtown Greenville with many shops, restaurants, and a riverwalk with falls along the Reedy River is only 35 minutes away.br Castaway Property is nothing fancy, just relaxing and comfortable. This home is the perfect spot for family vacations, Clemson events/ football weekends, fishing tournaments, or a tranquil getaway. We are ideally located only 13 miles from Clemson University, 2.5 miles from Portman Marina and Galley Waterfront Restaurant, and 5 miles from GreenPond Landing and Event Center (Home of the Bassmaster Pro Fishing Tournament).brUpon entering the home from the covered rocking chair front porch, you will notice its high pine ceilings and cozy cabin feeling, hosting a spacious and comfy living room and kitchen. Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and 55-inch Samsung Smart Television while relaxing in the living area. This home comes equipped with Cable Television, Smart TVs, and Wifi. Enjoy cooking in our well-equipped kitchen, including a double oven w/air fryer, all stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. We also offer many small appliances (crock pot, blender, toaster, etc.) and many extras to make you feel right at home. The dining room showcases multiple windows overlooking the serene view and a large farmhouse dining table and high chair to welcome plenty of seating. There is also an office area with a desk and monitor, and we offer free Wifi to allow our guests a quiet space for remote work or school. brThe home has 2 bedrooms and 1 full (tub/shower) bathroom on the main level and 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the lower level. The first bedroom on the main level has a King size bed and 40-inch Samsung Smart Television. The second room on the main level has a Queen size bed and a 40 Samsung Smart TV. All bedrooms are large with plenty of space, and the king rooms have space for a pack-n-play or inflatable bed if needed. brThe lower level of the home offers the spacious Master Bedroom, with a California King bed, a pack-n-play, a full shower/tub bathroom, and a 37 Flat Screen TV with Apple TV. The fourth bedroom on the lower level of the home has a Full-size bed, a Twin size bed with a twin trundle bed, and a 32-inch Smart Television with Roku. There is a second entertainment/living area on the lower level. This area includes a recreational game room with a Poker Table, Pac Man Arcade Game that includes 14 other games, dart board, various board games, a basket of toys & balls, books, and a comfortable sectional couch/Queen sleeper sofa and 50 Samsung Smart Television. This living area also has a kitchenette with a second refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, sink, and bar. The laundry room on the home's lower level has a Whirlpool washer, dryer, and utility wash sink. brOutdoors has a beautiful wrap-around porch on the home's main level, with 3 dining tables, an outdoor bar area (Tiki hut), and a Weber Gas Grill. On the lower level of the home, there is a covered patio sitting area to enjoy the peace and beauty of the outdoors or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. There is a fun-loving fairy tale two-story playhouse with electricity, a play kitchen, and a tool table for children to enjoy the great outdoors. We provide a Cornhole set, various outdoor balls, a 4 person Paddle Boat, 2 Kayaks, Large Water Pad, several floats and noodles. There is even a special little doggy walk-up ramp for our 4-legged family members after enjoying the large fenced-in yard. brEnjoy a walk to the lake on the concrete golf cart/walking path. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing rods, and Watersport fun! There are also several local boat rental companies conveniently located on Lake Hartwell. We have a newly built dock (2022) that offers a covered slip, an easy entry ladder, and a sundeck with Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs to enjoy sitting at the lake. We have a Paddle Boat that seats 4, 2 Kayaks (Two people and one person), and several adult and child-size life vests. Sit fireside by the lake at our concrete Fire Pit area; roast S'mores, Hot Dogs, or enjoy sharing stories and laughs as you make memories. brAnglers love this property! We offer plenty of room for boat and/or trailer parking, Green Pond Landing is only 5 miles from the home, and there are 2 excellent Bait and Tackle shops right around the corner. We have hosted anglers from the Bassmasters, Junior Bassmasters, and many other tournaments. brThere is a 2 car carport and private drive as you enter this beautiful wooded lot. We have plenty of room for parking your vehicles and boat. A security camera is placed on the front porch for additional security while the home is vacant and during turnover; however, we do not keep it on while you occupy the home. We have 5-6 feet of water at the dock when the lake is full, however Lake Hartwell has fluctuating water lake levels that can affect the water depth and access at the dock. fluctuate on Lake Hartwell.
