This was the most peaceful and beautiful spot! We had deer visit every evening and our favorite was kayaking out and watching the sunset. Beautiful, safe home for couples and families!

Such a fun lake getaway! Our kids really loved all the games, ping pong, kayaking, and fishing.

Had a very relaxing, restful week with perfect weather! Cindy has just about anything you could ask for here, for young and old alike! The place was very clean, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen! And great views, lots of wildlife! Would definitely come back again!

This was an excellent house to stay in the setting was calm beautiful the lake was great access to the lake was great. There was a fire pit. The house is very clean very well stocked very well managed. The owner responded to all my questions. It’s very nice. very roomy great kitchen great back patio to look out at the lake had canoes and kayak paddle boats which the kids enjoyed kid friendly swim in the lake use the hot tub at night. Check in is and out is easy. five stars definitely.

If you’re looking for location this is it! Great dock, comfortable home and the water views are outstanding. Our second rental on Hartwell and this one I’d recommend for sure.

Great Host / Property

No screened in porch. Porch fans were broken. Grills were unuseable. Dead trees that presented danger. Fell directly on the path to the dock. Had to purchase my own grill. Minor setback but a good place over all.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Everything is as described. Perfect swimming spots all over the property and the boys sure enjoyed fishing from the dock. We will be booking again!

We have stayed at this house two times. You will love the flat lot, location right at the boat ramp, dock, fully stocked kitchen with everything labeled, hot tub, and an outside porch for dining!

Perfect for fishing tournaments. Cindy is so nice and easy to communicate with. Check in was easy. Plenty of room for boats with trailers. The hot tub was a plus for the kiddos. Will definitely stay again

Being right on the water made for beautiful views all day. The hot tub was nice. Everything was clean. Plenty of amenities. Easy access to town for groceries and restaurants

Cindy was wonderful! I had a last minute, emergency housing scramble due to the hurricane…Cindy was quick to communicate and open up her home for me… she allowed an early check in, which was greatly appreciated, and even worked with me on a ‘no pet-policy’… during an extremely stressful time in my life, she made things a lot smoother for me… her place was very clean, quiet and peaceful… it was a beautiful spot on the lake with lots of lake toys… the yard was spacious and private and filled with deer!! Just what i needed while i recharged my ‘battery’…. Thank you Cindy for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The house is older, country lake house which suited us fine. The view was beautiful and the kayaks were fun.

So many great things to say about this place. They had a little bit for everyone to do. We rented this place for my birthday weekend to celebrate and bring our boat. We were pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed the covered boat dock! The house was spacious and had everything labeled and easy to find. We found a spot in the water to anchor the boat and get in the water. Suggest bringing water shoes if you get in the water off the property that was fun too. Literally have great things to say! Would for sure rent again! Just a side note I would not recommend “the local pub and eatery” we were there for 2.5 hours with terrible food and serve! However we did find the Public well cafe and pizza hands down fantastic atmosphere and great prices family owned.

Absolutely beautiful view to wake up to every morning. Very convenient to several restaurants

I didn’t like owner coming to property while we were there. She came 3 times, 2 times to water the yard flowers. And one more time to mow a very small patch of grass, about the size of 2 cars. I felt like we were being watched. Also you can not eat the fish in this lake. We did notice a catfish had a big sore on them. This makes you question swimming here.

Washed out walkway to lake. Abandoned car in yard. No electric dishwasher detergent. No TV first day. Nice dock,.....

Was a perfect spot to stay while the boys were fishing a tournament. The lake was great to swim in and the game room at the house had plenty of things to do also.
