This gorgeous Lake Front “Home away from home “ is centrally located between Anderson and Clemson on Lake Hartwell. This spacious lake home with beautiful views from 2 decks has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and sleeps up to 10 guests. From beautiful decor to recreational equipment, we’re working to ensure your vacation to be memorable & carefree. There are 3 smart TV’s with Roku allowing you to access your personal streaming accounts. There are outside security cameras located at the front & back of house and at garages for the protection of the property and our guests. The nearby boat landing is within walking distance of the house. Many neighbors in the community utilize the road to enjoy an afternoon stroll. The house is set back from the main road. The driveway allows room for guests to park several vehicles, as well as a specific parking for boats and trailers. We can also provide gated parking and electric for your bass boats! On the main floor, the living room has a beautiful fireplace. The fully furnished kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, microwave, keurig coffee pot, silverware, cooking utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and dish towels. Off the kitchen is a dining room and a laundry room with washer, dryer and second refrigerator. The master bedroom features a king bed with a master bath. There is a hall bath and a second bedroom with a queen bed. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and a hall bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a full bed and two twins. To enjoy the lake view, the screened in porch provides guests with a comfortable seating area. Just off of the screened in porch is an open deck with a gas grill. The home has a expansive detached back deck that has a nice covered area for relaxing and an open area for gathering and listening to music.brbr Provided for your stay is fun outdoor recreational equipment. This includes life jackets ranging from your sizes to adult, water floats, a wagon to help transport your lake day materials, the traditional southern game of corn hole, and two kayaks. Just down the hill from the house is the private dock on deep water where you can spend your day relaxing on the water, swimming, laying in the sun, boating, fishing, and kayaking. We have provided outdoor seating that remains on the dock. Feel free to jump in for a nice swim or ease into the water using the ladder that extends into the lake. The boat lift is not available for guest use. Guests are welcome to tie their boat on either side of the dock. If you want to rent a boat try Clemson Marina or Upstate Boat rentals. For fishermen we are convienently located near Green Pond boat landing. Our family has enjoyed countless summers at Lake Hartwell and we hope that Lake Place provides your party with plenty of amazing memories. We look forward to booking with you!

There is a family room off the kitchen as well as large living area with access to the covered porch (with dinning and seating and stairs to lower level). The dining room seats 10 and is perfect for all your family and friends. Rooms on this floor consist of a bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom that has access to the main living area. The bedroom off the kitchen is perfect for kids with a queen/twin bunk bed as well as a twin trundle. There is also a bathroom off the kitchen with shower.brThe lower level is pure fun! We have an arcade, foosball table, air hockey and bumper pool. There are loads of board games as well as outdoor cornhole. In the living room enjoy a large screen TV and full size sleeper/sofa. In the adjacent bedroom is a queen bed as well as a twin daybed. There's a newly remodeled bathroom that has access off the bedroom and laundry area. In the laundry you will find plenty of laundry detergent, extra towels, life vests etc. to enjoy in the hot tub or down on the dock!brOutside off the lower level is pure peace, privacy and serenity. We love it, and love sharing our space with other families and groups of friends to make wonderful memories together as we have. Our home includes 6 water view bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 2 open concept living spaces, and a large kitchen area that can accommodate large groups under one roof which is difficult to find on Lake Hartwell. brbrThere is ample parking for numerous guests (and boat trailers). Our home is located directly across from Sadlers Creek State Park and its wide boat ramp. In addition, the property is located only 7 miles from Green Pond Landing and its Bassmasters and Bass Angler tournaments.brbrThe lakeside of the home includes a row of windows so that the lake can be seen from many vantage points. brbrEverything is on one level and includes wide hallways. As such, it is a very friendly home for guests with ambulatory challenges.brbrThe home includes a well-appointed kitchen with plenty of prep space and two full-size refrigerators.brbrGuests will be able to watch TV (YouTubeTV provided) from two separate living areas (e.g., kids and adults) and wifi is available throughout the house and on the back patio.brbrThe back yard is one of the largest, cleared field spaces you will find on the lake. In addition, the very gentle slope lends itself well to a variety of games and activities (not to mention the included horseshoe pits). There is over 250 feet of water frontage on this property.brbrThe dock is available for you to park your own watercraft, or one from a local rental agency. We also have a 2025 Godfrey pontoon boat that is 22’, has a 150 hp motor and capacity for 15 people that may be available for rental (not included in pricing). We may have our boat parked in the covered slip (as in the photos), but the dock is still large enough to tie up other boats. A perfectly situated property for sunset views make this location among the most desirable on the lake. Local fishing charters are available. Not only is fishing and recreation on Lake Hartwell unmatched during the summer, the lake also been ranked as one of the top winter fishing destinations in the country. The home has a gorgeous living room with 2-story floor to ceiling bay windows that look out to the lake with a large wrap around porch, comfortable sofas and a 55 flat screen Roku TV. The interior is nicely appointed with tongue and groove walls/ceilings, granite countertops, a floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace, plenty of space to relax and a large family room in the basement with a large flat screen Smart TV. brbrThere are 4 bedrooms (1 in the basement level, 1 on the main level and 2 upstairs). Three of the bedrooms have king beds with top of the line posturepedic mattresses and the 4th bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds and will sleep 10+ very comfortably. Each bedroom, with the exception of the basement bedroom, has a 32 flat screen Smart TV. The basement bedroom has a large Smart TV and also access to a 49 flat screen Smart TV in the recreation area. The recreation room in the basement has a comfortable sectional sofa and table for six people to play cards, board games or laying out food during the big game. Free Netflix and Disney+ is also available.brbrThe cove is quiet with little boat traffic and is in deep water allowing for plenty of swimming fun for the family. The walk to the lake is fairly level with a gradual rolling decent. brbrA new dock an extra covered slip for guest use, swim platform with easy stair ladder, party deck on top of the dock and kayaks available for guest use. Spend the evening on the party deck watching the sunset over the peaceful cove before heading back up to the house for an evening by the fire.brbrA nice fire pit in the backyard is available for wonderful evenings with the family for roasting marshmallows and enjoying good times.brbrThe large open kitchen has plenty of cabinet space with custom made rustic cabinets and granite countertops and overlooks the dining and living rooms for a perfect entertainment layout. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of pots, pans, dinnerware and other supplies needed for cooking for the whole family.brbrPlaces to EatbrThe greatest number of local restaurants are on Clemson Blvd. To get there, head back out on Galloping Ghost Road and turn right onto Old Webb Road. Then turn left onto Highway 187. Go 2.73 miles and veer right onto Whitehall Road. Continue 5.12 miles and turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Continue on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd until you dead end into N Main Street. Turn left and this becomes Clemson Blvd. This road has many typical chain restaurants such as O’Charleys, Five Guys, Chick Fil-A, Chipotle, Chili’s, Texas Roadhouse, Cook Out, Applebee’s, Outback Steakhouse, Eggs Up Grill, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster, as well as some local favorites such as Elkmont Tap & Cellar and Papa’s and Beer.brbrOur personal favorite for BBQ is the Smoking Pig on Clemson Blvd (open Thursday, Friday and Saturday). There is also The Farm about 2 miles from the house on Highway 187 (heading back towards Highway 24). The brisket is great at both restaurants, and The Farm offers axe throwing and cornhole while you wait.brbrBarnwood Grill at 2606 Whitehall Rd, Anderson, SC 29626, is well regarded for its fresh food and fantastic breakfast. It is worth the short drive up the road.brbrIf you want pizza delivery, there is a Domino’s Pizza at the intersection of Hwy 24 and Hwy 187. The phone number is 864-261-3030. brbrDowntown Anderson as a few favorites such as Mellow Mushroom, Taco Loco and The Meeting Place Restaurant.brbrGrocery StoresbrThere are Ingles and Food Lion grocery stores at the intersection of Highways 24 and 187 about 3 miles from the house. Our favorite is Ingles, which also has a Starbucks inside. Be sure to take 30 seconds and get an Ingles card for discounts and fuel points (10 cents off per gallon with every $100 spent).brbrOwner holds a real estate license.
