This was the best VRBO I have ever stayed at! The entire house was beautiful and spacious. Check-in and check-out were easy and the host was super kind and helpful. We had an amazing weekend. The two full kitchens were a massive help for our large group. I would definitely stay there again :)

We could not have asked for a better home or better hosts for our vacation! Gary and his son Brian were incredible with any and all questions we had prior to arrival and throughout the trip. Having the jet skis right there on the property to rent made for super easy fun for everyone!There us so much space in this house for people to spread out and sleep. There was also plenty of space for all of our vehicles to include our boat trailer.The kitchen is extremely well stocked with plenty of appliances and dishes to accommodate large groups.We had 20 people in our group and never felt cramped. We will definitely be booking this house again next year!Thank you, Gary and Brian For making our trip absolutely amazing!

We loved staying at Hartwell Landing! The house was plenty big for 15 of us, ages 5-74. Each of the 4 families had their own bathroom, with one to spare, when someone got impatient. The ping pong table was a real plus, kids and adults all took their turns, and there was just a bit of competition. The best part was the dock and location on the water. We had a couple of good sailing days on our 18ft Hobie sailboat, it was easy to get out on the main body of the lake. The grandchildren loved our paddleboard and mini kayak, as well as the two paddle boards included with the house. They paddled across to the campground and checked out that beach. Our 16 yr old swimmer and her dad swam across to the beach and back, great open water practice. The younger ones could be in the water all day long, floating with their life jackets and diving to gather shells.The house was well supplied, as others have written about, plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, cascade, spices, even parchment paper.As one can tell, we loved our stay at Hartwell Landing.

The house, dock, pontoon and amenities were great. Owner was very nice and responsive.

This is an ideal property for a multigenerational family vacation. We had 10 individuals ranging in age from 5 to 73. There is plenty of room and the lake location is ideal. We had a great time and hope to rent it again.

This is our second stay at Hartwell Landing! The house is beautiful with two full kitchens, making our meal preparations for 22 guests much easier. They have an outdoor grill and smoker that we were able to enjoy this trip. They also have a pontoon boat and/or jet skis available to rent separately. Our group loved the spacious deck, walking out onto the beach into the water, the paddle boards, the pontoon boat, and the lakefront firepit. The kids (and adults) liked the upstairs game room with ping-pong and video games. The owners are great, very easy to work with and flexible! They answered our questions about using the smoker and pontoon boat. Also, they worked with us to allow for early check-in, since we had people coming from 5 different households. The house is spacious, clean, and they have anticipated many guest needs (like first aid kit, extra lake towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc). My whole family said multiple times how beautiful the house and views are. We would absolutely love staying here again in the future for our family reunions, assuming it's available! I have stayed at many vacation rentals and this place has been my favorite. We booked this place for my daughter’s graduation weekend get together for out of town family visiting. The host is very accommodating and responsive with anything needed. Many vacation homes come equipped with the bare minimum and gives you enough to last probably 1 or 2 days. But this host goes above it and makes sure you really don’t need to go get anything extra. But as experienced renters we were prepared for all the extras we needed for our stay. It was the peace of mind knowing had we were to ran out of things we didn’t have to worry about necessities like toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.The home was clean , fully equipped with extra towels and blankets. This place even had exta light blankets for the sofa for sitting on the sofa to watch a movie. The pictures don't speak well enough for this place. You have to see in person. Plenty of room and space to entertain the a large family with kids. 2 separate full kitchens was a great addition to our stay as well. Thank you Gary Morris for a very memorable weekend.

Great spot

My family does a reunion every year and this was the nicest house we have ever rented! The house is gorgeous, clean, and well-stocked. The owners have thought of everything-- plenty of toiletries, dishes, spices, towels, etc. It was clean and nicely decorated. It has a bonus game room upstairs with arcade games and ping pong that the kids enjoyed. The three levels gave the kids room to run and play, even though we had some rain. There were great indoor and outdoor seating options on the deck, covered patio, and dock. The main level had so much natural light and a beautiful view of the trees/lake from the wall of windows. Two full indoor kitchens plus an amazing outdoor kitchen/grill area made cooking so easy! They even had a pontoon boat available for us to rent separately, which was a convenient surprise! Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a campfire on the lake this visit. We did not have any issues during our stay, but the owners were very reasonable and available to answer questions/concerns. They also worked with us to allow early check-in since we were trying to coordinate the arrival of 5 different families. This is a great rental and I hope we can stay here again in the future!

The family loved the home. Everything was as beautiful as pictured. The outside seating was wonderful and relaxing both next to the home and on the dock. Loved the pontoon boat and waverunners. Hartwell landing beyond met our expectations for a family getaway. Thank you Gary and Brian for being wonderful hosts. Debbie

This was a wonderful property. Words can't describe how perfect this property was for the purpose of our stay, the number of people, the age ranges, the amenities... The property was close (enough) to Green Pond Landing. This was our 4th summer @ Hartwell and this was the closest we've managed to stay. There was plenty of room to park the boat in the garage--wenusually have no access to the garage, or we have to park diagonally in a standard garage. We had 8 people, ages 13 to 84. 2 bedrooms--with bathrooms--on the main floor meant no stairs for older guests. The *walk-out* basement--which means bright & airy, not dark & dreary--offfered some privacy for thise not on tournament hours. Our high school anglers stayed upstairs, which meant even more distance for early mornings & early evenings. The photos absolutely reflect reality...no funny angles or depth tricks. The rooms were so spacious. The kitchen was stocked with standards and the open kitchen and plumbed grill made cooking for an extended crowd easy-peasy. If this matters to you, just know that this home is covered by God's words all around. The location and views were simply breathtaking but walking around the backyard and path to the lake, seeing verses etched into the concrete, was just a blessing to us. The boys' final high school fishing trip felt protected and there were reminders everywhere of grace and gratitude. We are so very thankful to the Morris family for making our stay so very special.
