We had a fantastic time! The property is beautiful and the hosts were awesome! Very pet friendly! We will be back!

I gave the property five stars all the way around. The only disappointment was one that was out of the hosts control, which was the lake was so low we couldn’t use the home for what we rented it for… the water access! We understand it happens and we’d rent from them again!

Ashley and Scott were the best. Ran into a small issue while there and they jumped on it immediately no questions asked and had it fixed as fast as they could as best as they could with a house full of people, and kept checking on us after the fact to make sure we where comfortable.The house itself is beautiful, very well kept, we will be staying again, if not for the house then definitely for the wonderful hosts. Truly the best place we have stayed at. 10/10 would recommend.

We were very pleased with the accommodations . Ut had everything we needed to feel at home away from home . The hosts were amazing . We had to cut our trip short due to weather but look forward to renting it again in warmer weather.

Host was very nice and responsive. Love the cabin. Kitchen is a bit small little cabinet and counter space. Only complaint would be cabin nèeds a deep Cleaning. We had my one year old grandson and he crawls. Most of his socks and pants are stained. The small appliances were very dusty and dirty. Over all we enjoyed the place.Thank you, Tina Patton

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The back yard was perfect for our dogs. The kitchen was very well stocked. Fully served our needs.

This property was quite nice. There was plenty of room for my whole family. The fire pit was nice to sit around and we were able to share movies and sports in the comfortable living area. The beds were very comfortable as well.

It was accommodating to all our needs.

Great place to stay while in town for a wedding. I especially enjoyed the huge, fenced backyard. My dog didn’t want to leave! Other positives - well stocked kitchen with even a few pantry staples, two living areas for larger families, and fireplace with wood provided. I would stay again if in the area.

This property was amazing, from the clean and comfortable bedrooms to the marvelous outdoor patio and fireplace, and the hosts helping with whatever we needed, it had it all. We were in town for a Clemson game and the moment we pulled down the driveway, we were excited for the weekend! It's quiet, spacious, and had all the necessary entertainment for the time not on campus.

A very pretty house. The only thing I didn’t like was the twin bed lower level, it was so hard. The bathroom shower lower level. That shower was too small.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. Very spacious, so many amenities, the beds were comfortable, we enjoyed all the outdoor seating options. We really liked having the extra space downstairs. The dock is private and roomy with adirondack chairs so you can enjoy reading a book by the water. The enormous fenced in yard was a great space for our dog to be able to safely run and explore. There is plenty of parking. The owners are kind and easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. This home was perfect for our family of 7, ranging in age from 21 to 78, and for our pet. It’s a short and easy drive to Portman Marina where we launched our boat and jet ski. We enjoyed being able to boat up to pet-friendly El Arriero At The Shores to enjoy food, drinks and music. The Full Circle Cafe in Anderson is a great little pizza place that was perfect for carry-out our first night there. This was our first trip to Lake Hartwell and the Anderson, SC area. It was an alternative to our usual summer beach trip. We loved everything about the home and the location. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to family and friends. We hope to be staying again in the future.

Check in was super easy, host was very responsive and thought of all the details to make the stay more enjoyable! I will say if you have mobility issues the slope down to the lake will be difficult- my mom had a hard time with it but able bodied people won't have a problem!

This house was fully stocked with everything and so many little things (towels for our fur babies dirty feet, water bowls & even sticks for roasting marshmallows). The bedrooms are large and room for everyone (inside and outside). The master bedroom on the lower level has a sliding glass door out to the yard which made it easy when taking dogs outside. The back yard is completely fenced in so we never worried about our grand babies and our fur babies playing. The play room on the lower level was a big hit with the kids. We brought our boat, the boat landing was within miles and the dock @ the house was great. There is a sidewalk down to the dock and even a cart to help carry items to the boat. The only issue we had was the walk back from the dock. It was very challenging and reminded most of us we need to work out more(lol). Over all we loved this house and all it had to offer.

This house has enough space for two families! Great downstairs area with two main rooms. The kitchen is well stocked. One thing I wish I had known to inquire about was the depth of the water off the dock. It is very shallow and made for not great swimming but the dock is awesome and if you have a boat it is great. We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The exterior is in need of some clean up. The bushes are over grown and there was a lot of debris on the path to the dock. We will stay again if we plan to rent a boat. Also beds were very comfortable.

This place has a beautiful quite cove on the lake. Could not believe how clean and well stocked the home was. Perfect for family to cook evening meals.Lots of places for each family member to join the fun or have a quite space.

Spacious bedrooms and nice bathrooms in the home. You can’t really see the lake from the house and VRBO or the owner should disclose that there is a very steep decline to the lake. This property would not be appropriate for small children or older adults, especially anyone with certain medical conditions.

Host was extremely quick to respond to any and all questions. Beautiful home with lots s of room for 8 people and a 1 yr old plus 2 pooches. Dog friendly. Lots of games . Highly recommended

We had a great stay. Had a little challenge parking all of our bass boats but owner was great to work with and we made it work. We will definitely be back.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay for our daughter’s graduation. Just a twenty minute drive to Clemson University. It rained during our stay so we were u able to enjoy the lake, dock or any provided water toys. But were able to play poker downstairs in the provided poker table to make our stay rememberable. We will come back to hit up a Clemson football game or two in the future. Ashley was awesome. Very easy to get a hold of and very accommodating to our needs.

Our family had a great time at Tigertown Lake Escape. The property is exactly as advertised, and offers even more than the photos and descriptions online. The home was very clean, especially for a property that is so obviously pet friendly. There was plenty of room for our family, and local friends who stopped by to hang out-both inside and out. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The bathrooms were very nice, and well supplied with plenty of linens. The kitchen had all of the amenities we could possibly want, and plenty of cookware and utensils. The hosts make a point of wanting you to feel right at home, and so many small details were already taken care of-including things we hadn't thought of. Hand soaps, extra linens, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, bathroom supplies-shampoo, conditioner, etc. An extra cooler and wagon are available in the laundry room for guests who might need them. Extra food/water bowls for the pups, along with a supply of towels to help us keep paws and floors in good condition. So many thoughtful extras-really appreciated. We loved the outside-big yard, great deck space, plenty of seating-the deck lights were another great touch that we enjoyed. The Tiki Bar is as cool as advertised.The dock was awesome, we had a great time fishing, and also just enjoyed sitting out on the dock, taking in the sights. Ashley was a great host, and we appreciated her communication throughout the process. Thank you for the memories!!

Excellent property. The furnishings and bedding were comfortable and great quality. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare family meals. Although the weather was cool and rainy in the evenings the outside area would surely have been fantastic for bonfires. The dock allowed us to enjoy easy access to our boat during the day at this lovely home. The owners were accessible and more than accommodating. Beautiful getaway for any family!

The moment we arrived it felt like we were already home. This place is a piece of heaven on earth.

This beautiful property was exactly as described! A wonderful fenced yard for our 2 dogs with a path to the lake and dock.. Unfortunately the weather was not very accommodating for spending a lot of time relaxing outdoors but we did play with the dogs who completely enjoyed themselves. The bedrooms were very comfortable and having 3 bathrooms was a big plus for our family group of 7. Everything was provided so we were able to begin our college tours immediately, before needing to shop. Ashley was an amazing host and was so easy to reach when/if we had any questions had any questions. If we are ever back in the area this is the home we would absolutely try to reserve! Very clean, super cute rustic chic decor, well equipped kitchen, fire pit was great being it was on the concrete so you didnt have to get your shoes dirty. Owner is super responsive and so kind. One of our favorite homes weve stayed in as a family! I highly recommend!

We traveled to this home in a great upstate location for Christmas. We were able celebrate with local family and friends along with our dogs in this awesome home. Close to The Galley a family favorite for delicious food and cocktails. We also got to enjoy the upstate's spectacular nature hiking the falls and tunnels in the local parks. Great home where many holiday memories were made. Has our highest recommendation.

This property worked well for our family during our daughter’s December Clemson graduation. The only thing that we would’ve enjoyed more is truly being on Lake Hartwell. Instead, we were on a very shallow, drying up inlet which prevented us from any waterfront activities. Had planned to cold plunge, let our dog swim, use the kayaks, etc.

We had a wonderful stay, the property is kid and dog friendly. Will definitely look to book it again when we’re in town for our agility competitions.

Perfect relaxing spot for our family and friends ! Dog friendly with a huge fenced yard, awesome bon fire pit and lake. Plenty of space and has everything you need ! Convenient place to stay when our girls have their horse show in Clemson. We will definitely be back

We had a great weekend staying here! The entire house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We appreciated firewood being on site to use at the fire pit as well as the games, puzzles, and equipment to use the dock. The owner was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend staying here!

This house was perfect for our Labor Day weekend with friends. The host called ahead of time to let us know the water level was down in Lake Hartwell so we wouldn't be able to dock our boat. The marina was a short 3 minute drive away. The space was perfect for everyone. We had such a great time being together.

This property really is family and pet friendly. Quiet and private location. The hosts were very gracious. The area is very family friendly with many things to do with kids . A slew of state parks in the area also. This house was very clean and stocked with anything you may need. We stayed with a group of 11. Comfortable and felt like home. We will be back again!

It is a wonderful property. We came in the summer and loved being on the lake. Dogs loved the yard. Only thing to pass on to potential visitors is that the dock is at the back of a cove, pay attention to water levels in the lake. Water level dropped and left the dock with almost no water at the end of the week. This is in no way in control of the property owner but definitely something to consider if you are bringing a boat. Ours is a large center console so smaller boats may be less effected. Over all great property and would stay again if lake levels are up.

Our group of ten had a great time at this vacation home. The lake was low so we never went down to the dock. We were there for an outdoor concert, and it was a short drive into town. I wouldn't recommend the lower-level sofa bed for older adults but it's probably fine for kids and younger folks. We enjoyed the outdoor deck, corn hole and our entire stay. The home was really clean with plenty of fluffy towels, TP, etc. It looked very pet friendly with an outdoor ramp that went into the fenced-in back yard. Great time overall!

The cabin was cozy and inviting. Tons of outdoor space for our family reunion. Owner went above and beyond.
