It's two blocks from trails down to the local beach with amazing tidepools during low tide. Or a few steps further and you find yourself in Yaquina Head Natural Area which has a network of trails and views up and down the coast. The famous Yaquina Head Lighthouse sits at the end of the headlands and shouldn't be missed. Or, if you're a surfer, you can walk to the south side of the headlands and hit some of the best surfing on the Oregon Coast at Agate Beach. The adventurous can continue walking the beach for a couple of miles all the way to Nye Beach and Newport proper to visit the restaurants and shops. brThe house is clean & spacious, with vaulted ceilings and a large, open living room with a cozy wood stove for the chilly days & nights. The bedroom is huge, as well as its connecting bathroom, and the full-sized kitchen has all the amenities for at-home cooking.
