Oceanfront, Sauna, Large Oceanview Soaking Tub, dog friendly with yard

We didn't use the hot tub but the sauna was absolutely amazing. Jeannie was absolutely an amazing host. Couldn't of adked for a better one. The view was so amazing of the ocean from the living room and the deck. There's also a cute bench below to see it better. The stairs down to the beach can be a little much if your not used to it but still has a beautiful beach to hang out at with your pets.

Feels like your own private paradise. Very welcoming, peaceful and quiet location. Beautiful views in multiple directions including the Pacific right under your nose and Yaquina Head Lighthouse in the long distance. Owners very thoughtful and accommodating, above and beyond. Sitting on the back deck with coffee while watching & listening to the waves roll in is great therapy. Walking distance to many terrific eateries & shops. Perfect for a couple's escape. Highly recommend this experience.

A great place to get away on the Oregon coast. It was a return stay and we will very likely do it again. Very convenient to everything you may need or want to do. Jeannie is a great host, and provides a very personal touch which is appreciated. Provides great access to the beach for a walk every morning to Nye Beach.

Jeanne is a wonderful host very kind woman every time I come back to Newport. This is the place I’m going to stay. You have easy access to the beach and the stairs are wonderful especially for us older women who need to keep our toes a little tighter every now and then there’s a playground right next to us as well so it’s highly recommended.

Our stay was perfect. Jeannie is an amazing Host! She went above and beyond to make Bunny and I feel at home. Including welcome treats for us both! She was always ready with recommendations or suggestions when asked, but also gave us privacy. We loved the cozy space, the sauna and the super comfortable bed. And you cannot beat the view (stunning!) or proximity to the beach. I would 100% recommend this home, the location and the host! Will definitely return!

This place was better than advertised! Perfect view of the beach framed by trees from the kitchen window. The hot tub was amazing! All the personal touches and beautiful decor made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is incredible. This place is a gem and we will be back!

This lovely spot, set on a bluff in the heart of Newport, was perfect for our Winter week away! We (and our Dog Dot) were welcomed to spectacular Pacific Coastal Views, and by a variety of thoughtful amenities provided by our host. The adjacent stairway to the beach gave us the chance to walk, and let our dog run on the beach every day. It is close to both the Nye Beach and Harbor areas, as well as -- great places to enjoy excellent food and restful hours!

Host did an amazing job of making us feel so special with a lot of really nice touches. Really good host, really great space romantic weekend getaway that we would recommend to anyone.

We had the most amazing stay and truly didn’t want to leave. Jeannie was an incredible host from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather the entire time, with stunning sunrises and sunsets that made every morning and evening feel special. The sauna and soaking tub were unbelievably relaxing and quickly became our favorite way to unwind. The space itself is absolutely adorable, so thoughtfully designed, cozy, and welcoming. The little yard was perfect for our dogs to safely run around and enjoy themselves, and the easy access to the beach made it effortless to get outside and explore. One of the most thoughtful touches was the gift basket Jeannie left for both us and our dogs, which made us feel so genuinely cared for and welcomed. This place felt like a true retreat, and we cannot wait to come back!

Great place! Charming, quiet, cozy, clean, very comfortable bed! Stairway to the beach right outside the gate. 7 minute walk to Nye Beach hub for dining; and there is a very good restaurant right next door too.

The place is just as cute and charming as pictured, the host had treats and a toy for our dog and fresh flowers, and it’s in an amazing location with beach access and walkable to restaurants and shops.

The location of this property was perfect. It is a duplex with the rental on the bottom floor. It was very clean . The beach view was beautiful. The property owner had a nice welcoming basket, food, and bottle of wine.

Truly relaxing location for a couple and a dog! Jeannie provides extras, too, like dog treats, dog bowl, wine and people treats, and fresh flowers!! We loved our stay.

The property was clean and beautiful, with a sauna and a big tub that made warming up easy.Beach access couldn’t be easier, as long as you can do a flight of stairs. Just down the street was a State Park with more beach access and a historic lighthouse, basically under the picturesque Newport bridge.The property owner was warm and welcoming and made sure that we were comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better stay on the Oregon coast.

Lovely location with ocean views and proximity to the beach in Newport. The host welcomed us with flowers in the rooms and a treat basket including snacks and wine. A side gate leads to steps down to the beach. My husband enjoyed the sauna. This was our third stay and it never disappoints.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and everything was perfect. Home was clean and well cared for, host was attentive and communicative, and the location cannot be beat. Highly recommended!

Relaxing .. peaceful

Owner was very nice and asked if we needed anything. It was such a cozy little place. I really enjoyed the soaking tub. Easy access to the beach. Everything was perfect! I would recommend this to any one who wants a private retreat.

The property is very well located, with convenient access to Nye Beach and the bayfront.The hot tub and sauna were very nice after spending the day on the beach.The kitchen is pretty limited, but other than that, a very nice property.

I loved this place, and so did my dog. The location, view, amenities, and of course sauna made it a perfect cozy place to start and end the days. Jeannie added some very thoughtful and sweet touches for me and my dog. Ive already recommended it to friends and look forward to going back.

We arrived a little later than we expected however the host had made sure the lights we on and heat was comfortable. There was a welcome basket with wine crackers and cheese as well as a welcome basket with a toy and treats for our little dog. The view was amazing and the backyard was great to walk around as well as the view from the back deck. We loved the privacy and being walking distance from restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this location

From the moment we walked in, I could not get over the gorgeous ocean views from the huge picture windows. I could have spent all day just staring out of them. Communication with Jeannine was great and she left so many amazing touches -fresh flowers, the yummy welcome basket and the faux fireplace were all amazing. The big soaking tub was so nice after a cold November day on the coast. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Tranquility abounds here where the view is breathtaking and the coastal shore is steps away. Refreshingly relaxing with shore birds passing by overhead, the hum of the waves, and the spectacular sunsets. The only down side is having to leave.

My visit to Ocean Wind Retreat was the perfect respite from my day to day. The property was exactly as promised only more so in person.
