SALTY DOG is a 2 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront home located just north of Gold Beach in Rogue Shores a small oceanfront community of about 30 homes 1 MILE WEST of the Highway 101 and away from traffic. Gold Beach is located about 30 miles north of the Oregon/California border on the world famous ROGUE RIVER. This open plan 2 bedroom home has all wood floors with a full west side glass wall and panoramic views of the coastline and ocean. The main floor is the second floor with the living room with wood burning fireplace, dining room, full bath and kitchen and full laundry. The bedroom has a queen bed and a twin. There is a futon in the living room. brThe third floor is the master bedroom with a king bed and seating area and a bath. The house has WIFI, full cable TV, a large west side deck and a HOT TUB under the trees. There is a 2 car garage. We have our own path to the beach about 100 feet west of the home. Our beach is about 3 miles long and sandy with large off shore rocks and the Marine Mammal Reserve from the mouth of the ROGUE RIVER to the south and OTTER POINT to the north. The lights of Port Orford are visible at night to the north west and you can see the Cape Blanco lighthouse flash every 20 seconds. There are many Harbor seals, Sea Lions, sea otters and sea birds off shore and grey whales can be seen years round. Look for agates (semi precious stones) shells, driftwood and other interesting items or you can just enjoy a nearly empty beach and watch the waves and sunsets.

Our home has waterproof laminate floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, large deck, covered patio, spa, fire pits, and arcade games in the garage for an extra good time. Enjoy the spa any time of year!brThe main living areas, master bedroom, and patio are downstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, walk in closet, high ceilings and outside access to the patio. The master bathroom has double sinks, large shower, and soaking tub.brUpstairs features two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the rooms has a king bed and the other has a triple bunk for the kids. Both bedrooms have access to a large deck with sweeping majestic views of the ocean and beyond. brIn 2020/21 the home got a full upgrade. Beach Comber is a 3 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront home 50 feet from the beach with private access to the beach with the main floor being the second floor. We are located about 30 miles north of the OREGON/CALIFORNIA border on the southern Oregon coast. This home has hardwood floors and a large gourmet kitchen with tile counters. Fireplace, large west side deck with large windows for ocean and coastline views. Easy beach access over a low dune and a 3 mile long open and sandy beach with large off shore sea stacks, view whales, seals, sea lions and shore birds from the property and views north to the Cape Blanco light house 25 miles north and south 15 miles to Cape Sebastian. brThe master suite has a king bed and private bath with shower. Sliding doors to the deck. Our second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom also has a queen and share a full bath with tub/shower. We have a full laundry, iron and supplies. There is a sun room off the second bedroom with access to the main deck and access to the deck from the living room and dining room.
