There is an identical one in the master bedroom. Each operated with its own hand-held remote thermostat. The thermostats are found in their individual brackets attached to the wall in the hallway. If it is whale migration time, you just might be able to spot one. brWhales head south mid-December to mid-January for the warm waters of Baja.brThen they head north from late March through May for the cold Alaskan waters.brSummer and Fall: About 200 Gray whales remain in Oregon’s coastal waters every summer. And whisper quiet fans in the bathroom. brPlease turn down the thermastat to 50 when not in the bathrooms.brbrWe offer high-end soaps with Puracy brand hyper-allergenic body wash, shampoo and conditioner products. brbrThis spectacular beach house offers a spacious living room with a new leather L-shaped sofa, and a large leather chair and ottoman for spreading out. brbrThe dining room table is a circular high-top with 6 nicely padded chairs. From the table you can view the ocean during mealtime. brbrThe large half-bath located downstairs comes beautifully decorated with more granite countertop. It has its own electric heating source with thermostat, and a very cool porthole window our contractor fashioned by hand. The original kitchen has been upgraded with high-end appliances. A glass panel mezzanine overlooks the great level, serving as an additional lounge space. A large patio spans across the entire front and all along the north side, creating a wonderful extension of the indoor space. Check Out time is Noon, We won't rush you out the door! brbrLocated just across the Rogue River from the Port of Gold Beach and only a 1/2 mile walk to a very secluded beach. However you like to unwind you can do it here. Fishing for Salmon or rafting down the Rogue. Taking a Jet Boat tour. Walking on the miles of secluded beaches finding treasures. Golfing at the Local Cedar Bend Course or driving north to the famous courses in Bandon. Hiking through the Redwoods. Of course you may decide to just sit on the deck in the hot tub and stare at the view for days. brbrThe House was built in 1975 and has been completely updated with new furniture, flooring, beds, HVAC, electric, and Hi Speed Wifi. The large windows not only let in natural light, they highlight the scenic views of the river below and the surrounding mountains. This home also features two large living spaces - one upstairs and off the kitchen and the other downstairs. And yes, both have the same amazing views of the Rogue River with the mountains and the trees. Though you can enjoy the splendor of the scenery, the close-in trees give the house a nice, private feel. brbrOutside, there's a deck, covered patio and lawn space. Just off the upper living area, the deck takes advantage of the views but is built with safety in mind. Instead of a traditional-style railing, cables are used below the rail to keep little ones (and clumsy big-ones) safe without obstructing the view. Up here, you feel like you're in the trees while looking down at the river.brbrWhen it gets hot, your guests can escape to the covered patio just off of the lower living space. Down here, they can dip into the hot tub or just enjoy watching cars cross the bridge. As the sun goes down, you can walk down the stairs from the patio to the terraced yard, where there's a fire pit that's perfect for telling stories and just hanging out.brbrFeel the need to get to the river From the terrace, a short path takes you right to the banks of the river, where you can fish for salmon, try your hand at paddling for gold, launch a raft or kayak, or simply hang out in the cool water.
