We love sitting out there in the evenings enjoying each other’s company. We love our pets, and I'm sure yours is the greatest, but I can't vet them all, and for that reason, amongst others, we do not allow animals for any reason. While we have done our best to make this an oasis and block out the surrounding area with our 8 foot decorative fence, please understand that we are in a residential / industrial area, and you will occasionally see activity at the gas station across the river, and hear trucks at the plant across the street. We feel that it is a small trade out in exchange for the proximity to downtown and the river. brbr brbrYou could find a quieter mountain cabin, but you would drive to everything downtown Waynesville has to offer. Folkmoot U.S.A. is a 10-day celebration of world dance and music with visiting international groups performing at many events in July. On four Friday nights in the summer, come down for the Mountain Street Dances. Put on your cloggin’ & square dancin’ shoes and enjoy an old fashioned mountain hoedown in front of the Historic Courthouse.
