This home is located on a narrow stretch of island between the Atlantic Ocean and the ICW. Great views of both! We are right on a canal in the quiet community of Galleon Bay. On the front porch notice the sign, it says it all... Paradise Found. It's truly the best of both worlds — water views from EVERY window. Our private dock allows you to enjoy boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and other water sports. There is plenty of room to tie up your boat or water toys. The boat lift is not available with the rental. Additionally, the ICW entrance at the end of the canal was just dredged in 2024 to make it easier to get out and back in! There is a beach access at the end of the road for those who wish to look for seashells, relax, swim, surf, or go fishing. There is an expansive wrap-around deck for outdoor entertaining along with decks from all the upstairs bedrooms, a screened-in porch off the living room, and a ground-level canal front deck. A custom large outdoor shower. You will not grow tired of the Ocean and ICW views. If you're looking for the pleasure of beach living, breathtaking views of the North Carolina coast and the luxuries of North Topsail Beach, come stay in our FAMILY-FRIENDLY home. Completed in May 2015, the house has a modern style and feel. You won't feel closed-in or like you're staying at Grandma's in an out of date, older house With pale colors on the walls. This house is designed to make you think, if I had a house on the beach, I'd want it to look like this.brbrThis is a pet-friendly house. Except for bears. We're not making that mistake again! We do not charge pet fees.brbrThe townhouse is located on a dead end road directly across from the beach and has excellent beach access (just 78 steps from door to shore). The home is located in a nice neighborhood adjacent to Surf City and is close to restaurants and stores. This is a luxury home with hardwood and tile floors and granite counter tops throughout. There are four covered porches, two of these have beautiful ocean and two have sound views. brbrThe bedrooms are huge, each measuring at least 13 ft. X 15 ft. Each bedroom contains a queen bed, night stands, dresser or chest of drawers, and a flat screen TV with cable. The sound facing bedroom on the first floor also has twin bunk bed. All rooms have ocean or sound views and the sound of the waves breaking on the beach will sooth even the most frazzled nerves. Two of the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms and the two remaining bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with separated double vanity area and shower/toilet areas.brbrThe kitchen and living room are an open air concept, with a large space that just begs for socializing and entertaining.
