A short block to ocean with public access (and lovely, life guarded beach). We went North one day to Corolla and south one day to Hatteras and played on our beach. If you want to explore OBX this is a great location in the middle. Very close to lots of restaurants. Mark was very quick to reply to questions. Had an electronic access code which made checking in absolutely painless. Nice deck with view of ocean. The beach is just a short walk away making it easy to go for the afternoon or the day. The shower in the garage was nice to rinse off in after taking a dip in the pool as well. I really liked the living area because everyone could be together no matter if they were cooking, playing uno on the table, watching tv, or out on the balcony. I had a great trip staying at Mark’s place.
