Our home offers stunning views of the waters of the sound and sunsets from the hot tub, which is on the lower tier of the double tier deck in the rear of the home. Reelin' Inn also boasts an outdoor shower to get the sand off prior to entering the home after a day at the beach, and a screened in porch area for seating. Living area and one bedroom are located on the top floor. Remaining bedrooms and the washer and dryer are located on the first floor.brbrReelin' Inn is located close to several marinas for fishing, the ferry to Ocracoke Island, the Hatteras Island Ocean Center, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, etc.brbrCome enjoy the many water sports and the beautiful beaches of the Hatteras National Seashore (less than 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to HOA beach access from your front door). brbrThe closest beach access point is the HOA path right across Route 12 from the Hatteras Village Civic Center. brbrReelin' Inn has 24 hour (exterior only) video security monitoring.brbrWe will consider authorizing up to two dogs per stay. Head out the front door for a quick walk to the beach or stroll to the sound from your backyard. Few homes on the Outer Banks can boast such easy access to both bodies of water. brbrThis area is known for the best surfing in the outer banks, and it’s literally right out your front door, down the driveway and across the street. After a long day at the beach, head to your pool area for more fun! Relax in the hot tub, cool off in the large private pool, and let the kids splash around in the kiddie pool. A TikiBar is ready for entertaining. Near the pool you’ll find an outdoor shower with hot and cold water as well as a convenient fish cleaning table. Behind the pool area, the nearby sound access provides an easy launch point for fishing, kayaking, kiteboarding , and windsurfing. The private pool is generally open from mid-May through early October. Feel free to message us if you’d like to verify availability for specific dates. brbrThe pool is open starting in March. If you would like it heated, there is a $600 charge for the week. That’s just what it costs us to run the heater.brbrWe are literally right across the street from the beach. There are no homes there. It’s just a sand dune with a path that gets right onto the beach. brbrThe sound is amazing and it’s literally 30 feet from the home. The sound is much calmer than the ocean and only 3-4 feet deep for about 500 yards out. It’s for paddle boarding, kayaking, wind surfing, fishing, etc. brbrLandshark goes above and beyond cleanliness. Did you know most rental properties only wash comforters 1-2 times a year and do not disinfect furniture like sofas and loveseats at all At Landshark, all bedding is washed and all furniture is disinfected between stays.
