A private beach neighborhood access is located just down the block.brbrLocated in a quiet neighborhood between Bogue Inlet Pier and Emerald Shopping Center for easy access to grocery shopping and restaurants. Access to the bike path is just a block away, miniature golf is within walking distance along with several restaurants.brbrThe smoke free cottage has parking availability for at least 4 vehicles, the gravel driveway can also be used for boat parking if needed.brbrJust under 2000 sq ft this cozy family cottage offers 2 separate entertaining areas, the larger area located on the upper level with an adjacent wet bar while the smaller area is located on the ground level adjacent to the kitchen and dining area. Both areas have large screen smart TVs with Amazon Prime and Sling for your entertainment pleasure. You may also stream from your own personal accounts. There is high speed internet throughout the cottage. The ground level of the cottage floor plan includes the main kitchen with and island offering searbrting for 2, dining table seating 6, seating area with large screen TV, laundry closet with full size washer and dryer, bathroom with walk-in tile shower and a master bedroom with King size bed. The upper level floorplan includes a large entertainment area with tv, game table, wet bar, an extra refrigerator for overflow food/beverages, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with a loft area. brbrThe cottage will accommodate the maximum of 8 guest in which some of the guest are children or teenagers and will use the loft area for sleeping ( 2 twin beds ), otherwise the cottage can accommodate 6 guests comfortably in the 3 bedrooms ( 1 king, 1 queen & 1 full bed ). When the cottage was first built the loft area was used as a sleeping area for our 2 middle school age children. The loft has no door or closet. It is located over and adjacent to the upper level entertaining area and is accessed by a full set of stairs. The 2 single beds in this space are well suited and popular for older children or teenagers.brbrThe private beach access at the end of the street is for property owners and their guest, a beach fishing cart is available for your use to haul your items to the beach if needed.brbrThe total home (1960 sq feet), decks and side patio are available for the guest to use. There are 2 closets on the ground level, one closet on second level and a workshop designated for owners personal items. These areas are locked.brThis home is not a duplex and there is no owner's apartment on the property. Enjoy the ocean air and views from the outside decks of this oceanfront 5-bedroom, 4-bath west-side duplex, or take a few steps down the sloping, private boardwalk, and you'll be on the sand!brbrThe entry floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a laundry area. The spacious oceanfront master suite has a king bed with storage, a large dresser and mirror, two bedside tables, a sitting chair, a closet, and a Smart TV. There is a slider to the deck and outside seating for four to listen to the waves and enjoy the stunning ocean views. The well-lit master bathroom has an oversized, single-bowl sink with plenty of storage and an additional shelving area to the left of the shower for towels and extras. The shower has two glass shelves for your supplies and a handheld showerhead. brbrThe oceanfront queen bedroom on this floor has a queen-size storage bed, two bedside tables, a tall, narrow chest of drawers, and a Smart TV. There is room in the closet to store your suitcases but no hanging area because it's under the stairs. The slider in this room leads to the deck with outside seating and is shared with the master. The double bunk bedroom on this floor is perfect for families or extra guests; it is located on the roadside of the house and has a large chest of drawers, a bedside table, a Smart TV, and a closet. There is also a pack-n-play in the closet.brbrThe second bathroom on this floor for the queen and bunk rooms is well-lit and has some storage space to the right of the shower and under the vanity. The furniture is really comfortable, and it’s a big enough space to hang out when you’re in from the beach. brbrThe dining table is bar height and seats 6. The oversized bar has seating for 4 more and a lot of serving or workspace. The kitchen is fully equipped with serve and cookware and has a Keurig, blender, griddle, and toaster oven combo & toaster in addition to the new frig/freezer with water and ice maker, sink disposal, dishwasher, microwave, and cooktop/oven. The kitchen has plenty of storage, and there's also a small pantry closet right off the kitchen.brbrThe queen bedroom on this floor has a queen storage bed, a chest of drawers, a bedside table, a closet, and a Smart TV. It does not have an ocean view, but it's the only bedroom on this floor and will use the bathroom with the largest shower. The bathroom on this floor has a large tiled shower with seating and two shelves. brbrBack down to the first floor, you'll find a large master suite with a living area and a full bath with shower. You do have to go outside of the house to get to this room, but it is a nice, big room. Inside this separate entrance master suite, there's a king-size storage bed, a large dresser with a mirror, and two bedside tables, but it does not have a closet. There's also a comfortable sectional that pulls out into a full-size bed, a coffee table, and a 55 Smart TV. A small refrigerator/freezer has been added. The bathroom for this suite has a shower with a small seat and a handheld showerhead. This suite is perfect for when couples and families vacation together since it adds an extra inside living area and privacy. This suite has a private patio by the dunes with seating for two and a hammock, and the outside shower for the home is located to the right on the side of the house. The outside shower has hot and cold water, a rain head, a regular head, a foot wash, and a hose connection to wash you and your beach gear off.brbrEmerald Isle Escape is the west side of the duplex only. It was completely gutted and renovated inside and out including the front porch and boardwalk to the beach in 2024, and we have done our best to make it as nice and comfortable for your vacation home as possible. We even added an extra water heater so when everyone heads off the beach at the same time to grab dinner at a local favorite, you shouldn't run out of hot water! Every room has a ceiling fan and Smart TV, and all three floors have separate A/C controls. Besides being just steps from the ocean and uncrowded beach, the location of Emerald Isle Escape is great because as soon as you come off the EI bridge onto the island, you get into the right lane out of traffic, turn at the very first light, and are here in just a few minutes. You should be able to park 7 cars in the driveway on our side of the duplex.brbrPlease be mindful that, like all homes on EI, there are full-time residents and other vacationers around this rental. You should relax, let loose, and have a great time on vacation, but this is not a party house. Please enjoy yourself as we always have when we are on vacation, but be mindful that reckless or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated.
