It's within walking distance to the convention center and Downtown Durham's best restaurants, pubs, and entertainment. brbrbrbrYou'll love the 18th century architectural roots of the space which features brick, timber, high ceilings, wood floors & an open floor plan. It'll be your home away from home while you explore and experience everything Durham has to offer. We love to give recommendations to our guests so never hesitate to ask us for things to do, places to eat, or sights to see. brbrbrbrWhat you'll really like about staying at our space:brbrbrbr• Cleanliness. Our space is professionally cleaned before each and every reservation, while many other listings in the city are not. You'll really appreciate staying at a clean and well taken care of space. brbrbrbr• Communication. We have a 100% response rate for a reason. We respond to each and every guest message within just a few minutes, before and during your stay. brbrbrbr• Arrival. We have a convenient 24/7 self-check-in system with free on-site parking that lets our guests have flexible check-in times, no matter how late it is at night. brbrbrbr• Safety. Our townhome is located in an apartment community that has security cameras, is well-lit, and has an enclosed garage for private parking. We also have an outside camera above the hallway entrance that we use to help us conveniently check-in guests, and as an added security benefit for our guests. These cameras do have audio recording that we are able to review history of if needed. There are no cameras or audio recording devices inside.brbrbrbr• Location. The location we're in is a walker's paradise since most places you'll want to visit won't require a car. Morgan Street is as flat as a pancake, has ample sidewalk space, and is very bikeable. Our home is just a 5-minute walk away from the Convention Center. Attached full bath and plenty of closet space. brbr2nd bedroom dubbed 'The Yellow Room' contains a double bed in the bright happy space that gives off all the flower power vibes.brbrThe 'Mushroom Room' has two twin beds and if you can dig it, then you'll be set in this space! brbr The half bath is located in the hallway and connects to the full bath for a secondary access to the shower. brbrWe are activity improving and updating as time allows so new exciting changes may occur before your stay, but don't worry- all changes will be even more groovy than what is there now! brbrThe decor is intended to bring you back to the 1970's and honor the original owners who had this house built in 1979. Why stay in another home that looks like the rest when you can experience an abundance of floral, velvet and a lava lamp or two. brbrWe welcome well trained dogs in this space for a fee of $50 per stay. There are great outdoor spaces, comfy beds, and a charming, unique building. The 1st-floor condo is next to the pool *OPENING MAY 2ND*, gardens, cookout areas, shuffleboard, and large chessboard. Close to Duke East Campus and Duke Hospital. Well-suited to couples, solo travelers, and business travelers. Small dog 25 pounds allowed for $87/staybrbrThe condo is very clean and it goes through a disinfecting process and has its own HVAC system. Everything available that is needed for a comfortable stay. Keurig coffee and still and carbonated water are provided. Pearl Mill Flats is within easy walking distance of downtown Durham restaurants and entertainment venues (15 minute walk). My favorite restaurant, Blue Note Grill (great food and live music) is less than two blocks away. Durham Performing Arts Center and the Durham Bulls Baseball Park are about a 2-minute drive or 25-minute walk from Duke Tower. Dog fee is $87/two. Max of 2 dogs under 25lbs allowed. Sorry no cats allowed!brbrAll areas of the property are accessible to our guests. These areas include lovely gardens in the courtyard, grill and picnic areas, seating and conversation areas, shuffleboard, human-sized chess, miniature golf area, and a large lighted pool. Parking is ample and very close to your unit. They must be house broken, up to date on vaccines and flea control and well behaved (minimal barking). Pool hours are dawn to dusk. Pool opens 5/2/26.
