As you approach the cabin you will see that the front porch is just one step up from the gravel drive allowing you to bring your bags in with ease. When you arrive at the front door you are welcomed by two Adirondack chairs, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening in or enjoying the view. Behind the split rail fence, you will notice the fire pit – the ideal spot for watching the stars fill the sky over the mountain tops and cozying up with your favorite hot beverage in the colder months. At the far end of the front porch sits the best way to relax and unwind: the outdoor hot tub. The second-level deck features additional Adirondack chairs perfect for taking in the scenic views during the day, and star-filled skies in the evening.brbrEntry-level: brUpon entering the foyer, you are greeted with natural wood and views into the open concept kitchen. Past the foyer, you enter the living room which features leather sofas, a gas fireplace, and a smart tv. Past the living room, you enter the fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher to make clean-up a breeze. The door to the left of the kitchen leads to the master bedroom. Natural wood tones and picturesque mountain views surround king size bed. The master bedroom has a full private bath and gas fireplace. The cabin also features floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the cabin with light, with outward-facing scenic views of the mountain and beyond. brbrLoft:brThe spiral staircase in the living room beckons you upstairs to the loft and game area. When you arrive on the landing you will see a foosball table and to the right a futon with a bunk bed combo perfect for kids and adults alike. Guest understands that it is considered as reserved `sight unseen`. Our cleaning staff will have cleaned it before your occupancy. All electrical, plumbing and appliances should be in working order. The failures of operation of certain extra amenities, such as TVs, cable, or the Internet and WiFi service are not a basis for any refund. Manager will make every effort to have these items repaired but does not guarantee that they will be repaired during Guests occupancy. When you arrive, if you find that the house has not been cleaned to normal standards please notify the Manager immediately. We will do our best to have tradesmen attend to any issues. The Guest agrees to hold the Manager harmless from any liability for the condition of the house. Due to the nature of cabin properties, the stairs, decks and concrete are not always stable. Use at your own risk.br CLEANING & REPAIRS: All units have cleaning included in the total rent. Please note that cleaning does not include dishes & cooking utensils. If additional cleaning is required after you leave, it will be charged to your credit card. Guest agrees to keep the house, furniture and furnishings in good order. Removing, adding or changing furniture without Manager’s written approval shall be deemed a material breach of this Rental Agreement, and is strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for the cost of replacement of any damage to furniture or premises and replacement of missing items. Under no circumstances can any furnishing or linen be taken outside of the cabin.brENTRY OF PREMISES: With Guest’s permission, which is hereby given, Manager or Manager’s representative may enter the premises during reasonable daylight hours without securing prior permission from Guest, but shall give Guest notice of such entry immediately prior if possible and immediately thereafter. For inventory and maintenance purposes a property management employee of the Manager may need to enter the premises. The same permission procedure applies as above. In any emergency, Manager or Manager’s servicing agents may enter the premises at any time without permission of Guest for the purposes of making repairs to alleviate such emergency. brASSUMPTION OF RISK: No lifeguard may be on duty. Accordingly, persons using the pool or hot tub do so at their own risk and the Manager assumes no responsibility for accident or injury. No one should swim alone. Renters will hold the Managers harmless from any and all bodily injury and/or property damage incurred on the property arising out of Renters` negligent acts or omissions. brCHILD PROOFING: Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house, and accept the risk or harm to any children we allow on the property. These risks are not limited to, but include access to the deck, hot tub, fire pit, adjacent street, and cleaning supplies in the house. brFURNITURE: All furniture must be returned to its original location on Guest`s departure or an additional charge will be made. brMISSING ITEMS - Renters will be charged for any missing items reasonably attributable to Renters and not returned after notification. The cleaning service performs an inventory/survey of the property after Guests depart and notifies the Manager of any missing items. Manager will notify guests in the event that items were inadvertently taken, and provide guests the opportunity to return the missing items. brUSE OF SECURITY CAMERAS - Renters understand and accept that the property is protected with outside security cameras. These cameras are used to protect the property from potential break-ins and theft. There are NO cameras inside the house. brPERSONAL PROPERTY: Guest understands that any personal property of and used by Guest is not insured by Manager and Manager shall not be responsible for any lost, stolen or missing property of the Guest or property of Guest left after check out. PARTIES - This is not a party house. The Renter must be 25 years of age to book this Vacation Rental. Any special occasions such as weddings, receptions, family reunions or increase of occupants (guests not registered on registration form) must be disclosed at the time the reservation is made and is subject to Manager`s advanced approval. Prom parties, fraternity or sorority parties and graduation parties are not allowed at any time. Adults cannot rent property on behalf of underage guests, no exception. brNON-SMOKING - This is a NON SMOKING vacation rental. This INCLUDES THE BALCONY. Evidence of smoking, such as the smell of cigarette or cigar smoke inside the unit by the cleaning crew is sufficient basis to charge the renter for smoke cleanup and removal from carpeting, AC ducts & filters and furniture. This type of clean up is expensive and Renter is Liable for the deep cleaning Costs incurred. brbrNO EXCEPTIONS $100 NON REFUNDABLE PET FEE. If you bring a pet(s), you must pay the non refundable pet fee. If you are found to have a pet and have not paid the fee this rental agreement will be forfeited, terminated and deposits will be retained and a deep cleaning fee will apply. brbrCHECK-IN & CHECKOUT - Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is 10:00 AM. brbrHOLDOVER -Not arranging extra nights or late checkout is subject to extra rental charges at the rate of $100/hour after a grace period of 30 minutes. Guests may arrange for extra nights in advance to avoid any late checkout fees. Extra nights are charged at the daily rate and may be granted if available. If Guests are not present when cleaning crews arrive and have left their possessions in the house, cleaning crews will collect their possessions and remove them from the premises in order to prepare the unit for incoming guests and Guest will be charged $150 for this service. Bryson City has been called “The Tiny Town in the Middle of Everything” and Sixty-One Park is right downtown, just a short walk to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, breweries, local parks and all the cutest shops and restaurants. Perfect set up for a family vacation or a trip with friends! brbrThe Sixty-One Park Farmhouse has been fully brought up to date with all modern comforts while keeping all the farmhouse character. The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms and sleeps eight comfortably. The downstairs has an open floor plan with the kitchen, living room, dining room and game room. The farmhouse has multiple living areas for reading, resting and personal space. A large screen TV is located in the living room. We’ve stocked the farmhouse with books and board games as well. We’ve tried to think of every detail that will make your stay perfection. In the warmer months our succulent wall and National Park-inspired charcoal grill make for great entertaining. In November and December the house is fully decked out for Christmas and the Polar Express.brbrFrom Sixty-One Park you can walk to the nearby seasonal Friday farmers’ market for fresh produce from our local farmers, honey from our local beekeepers and crafts from local artisans. Each bedroom is oversized and the master bedroom has a king size bed while the 2nd room has queen size bed. Both have a large private bathroom and sliding glass doors that also open up onto the massive deck. A double sided gas fireplace enhances the family room and master bedroom. All amenities are new. Enjoy incredible romantic sunsets every evening from the partially covered 60 x 12 deck that faces West, only to be followed by a display of shooting stars later that night while roasting marsh-mellows around the fire pit. You can faintly hear and see the Smokey Mountain Scenic Train from 4000 feet up as it transverses the mountain side twice daily. This cabin is centrally located to the area in order to provide visitors with the convenience of easy accessability to many of the local attractions. This area is known as the recreational center of the southeast. Whether your interest is golf, fishing, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, shoping or sightseeing you'll spend no more than 15 to 20 min. in the car to get there. Spend the day aboard the The Great Smokey Mountain Railroad for a day of sightseeing. The Natahala Outdoor Center(NOC)is a favorite for many families interested in class 2 & 3 rafting. Almost Heaven log cabin mountain escape

Location:brBehind the Nantahala Outdoor Center, approximately five minutes along a back country mountain road sits the large One Bedroom Log Cabin getaway, Almost Heaven. The roads to the cabin are well maintained and generally easily driven by most vehicles. The area around the cabin is minimally developed and retains a peaceful natural setting. White Water Rafting and excellent restaurants are just a short drive back down to the Nantahala Rafting Center. Mountain Biking at the famous Tsali Recreation Center is approximately fifteen minutes away. Bryson City and the Smoky Mountain National Park are a Scenic twenty-five minute Highway drive. The Cherokee Indian Reservation Entrance to the National Park is ten to fifteen minutes past Bryson City.brbrExterior:brAround the last bend of a gravel mountain road sets a cabin whose classic architecture surrounded by a natural environment creates a restful calming atmosphere that is called Almost Heaven. The parking area is wide and flat, allowing plenty of space to easily turn around when your ready to head out to explore the area. The gravel of the parking area continues around to the front of the cabin. A few steps up to the wide front porch. Here rocking chairs invite you to sit awhile and watch the clouds drift across the sky and the birds play in the trees. Past the front porch is a low picket fence. The gate in the fence opens to a small side yard surrounded by the fence and graveled. In the center of the fenced in gravel side yard is a stone fire pit; where a relaxing evening's conversation seems to flow effortlessly when warmed by the glow of a fire. A few steps up from the yard is the side deck. On the deck is an out door hot tub, open to the fresh mountain forest air and calming scenic natural views. The warm massaging waters of the hot tub are the perfect place to shed the stress of your life and leave them mountains away. From the side deck around to the back of the cabin, is a covered dining area with gas grill.brbrEntry Level:brIf you can ignore the temptation of the rocking chairs and fresh mountain air on the front porch to enter the front door, you will step into a home that is as welcoming and calming as the natural environment outside the cabin. The first room you step into is the Living Room. The Living Room has a spacious interior with natural wood tone walls, Cathedral Ceiling and lots of windows to fill the room with light colored by the mountain forest surrounding the cabin. Leather Sofas offer a comfortable spot to enjoy the warmth of the Gas Log Fireplace or to relax and watch the Flat Screen TV. Past the Living Room to the back half of the cabin is a Full Size Kitchen with all cooking and dining utensils supplied. To the right of Kitchen is the Dining Room. Here natural wood surfaces combine with a wide view of the natural forest to create a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a romantic diner. The Sliding Door in the Dining Room allows access to the side deck and Hot Tub. To the left side of the Kitchen are two doors. The door on the right is the Entry Level Bath. The other room is a Game Room with a Foosball and Air Hockey Tables. brbrUpper Level/ Loft:brTo the left of the front door, stairs rise to the loft above the living room. The loft is a fun hangout. The full size Billiard Table is a popular evening activity. A door to the left of the top of the stairs opens to the master bedroom. Warm natural wood walls and log style queen size bed with fresh clean linens combine to create a restful atmosphere that no hotel room could ever match.
