The Mitchell Suite above Dolce, Bryson City, walk to restaurants & GSMRailroad

Room was beautiful and clean, people were very friendly. Everything was wonderful except the bed was loud when turning over or moving throughout night. Regardless, Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

This was literally 10 steps from the Polar Express! Beautiful, clean, and absolutely perfect!

Great place to stay

The Mitchell Suite is in a great location allowing you to walk all of downtown Bryson city with ease. Right across the street from the railroad, but not loud at all. The space was clean and the bed and linens were good quality and comfortable.

I was in a great location everything was around it. Love the perk of going downstairs and getting coffee and a muffin during our stay. Theirs is not a kitchenette, but there is a mini fridge and a tiny microwave, which is convenient overall very nice clean and located in the heart of the town.

Wonderful place to spend the night when visiting the Polar Express. We'll be back!

Host provided update to check-in process which were very thorough. The location is in the middle of everything and was perfect. It was located right across the street from the train. We didnt realize there were two apartments and ours , the Mitchell suite, was located on the backside overlooking the parking lot. We didnt mind it at all, because we were out sightseeing. The apartment itself was very very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our one night stay. Additionally, we were worried that by being in the middle of everything, it would be very noisy preventing us to sleep. That was not the case at all. We could hear the train, which was nice, but it was very quiet inside and we slept very well. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Bryson.

Perfect location (loved being across the street from the train station - we did the Polar Express with our toddler), clean and cute room, and such a nice treat having the shop below. Thank you!!

Stairs were steep and couldn’t lug my suitcase. Otherwise the apt was wonderful - large, very well equipped and the mountains and sunset were a magnificent view from the balcony though you had to ignore the huge parking lot and garbage cans.

My second stay in the Mitchell Suite. Every bit as good as, if not better than, the last visit. I had a bit more time to explore the town this time. Great restaurants, shops, ice cream.I stay here when fishing in the area. The suite is, literally, next door to the best river float fishing guide in the area (Bryson City Fly Shop). So I walked next store, with my free morning La Dolce coffee in hand, and hopped in the guide’s truck!Of course the Mitchell Suite was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Great wi-fi. Quiet.The pic is from the deck off of the suite’s living room.

This is a great location. The suite was so clean and easy to access. The host was super responsive and friendly.

Beds were comfortable, less than a block to smokey mountain railroad depot & many restaurants. Mitchell suites patio opens over Railroad parking. You do hear some street noise but it gets quieter as evening progresses. Suite is nice sized & true to description. There are stairs since you are on second floor but they are inside & well lite. Parking area is well lite as well & does shine in through window coverings in livingroom area. We'd stay here again when we're next in area.

The apartment was really clean at check in. It’s cute and close to everything in town. We were easily able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The cafe below the apartment is really good. I had a question before arrival. It was answered quickly and effectively. We would stay here again.

The Mitchell Suite was very clean, the check in process was very easy no issues at all. We enjoyed our stay. We were right beside of the Smokey mountain train ride, that I scheduled for my husband’s birthday. We will definitely be back to stay.

Beautiful little place to stay! We loved it!

Great property for our quick getaway to Bryson City. Dolce has great coffee and food. Much more comfortable than a standard hotel room. For clarification there are two suites above Dolce: Mitchell and Everett. Everett suite is above the front of Dolce facing Everett St and Mitchell is the back of second floor facing the train visitor parking lot facing west.

Great little town. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Service & food downstairs were excellent.Would definitely stay here again if we are down that way again.

We came into town for the July 4th celebration, so we wanted to be in walking distance from town. This place is ideal, you are in town. It had everything we needed. We have been to the Fourth of July celebration for a few years here, best stay yet. Also, you are not too far from the Smokies for hiking. It is not too far at all for rafting and horseback riding. We did both. Of course, train ride across the street, but we have done it before and did not ride this time. Highly recommend to stay here.(Cannot complain about coffee shop and bakery downstairs )

A hidden gem right in the middle of town. The Mitchell Suite is exactly as described in the listing. Super clean, comfortable, and convenient. Private parking right by the entrance door. The balcony/deck (with table, umbrella, and chairs) overlooks the railroad and Mitchell Street. I drank my free morning fresh-roasted (delicious) coffee and free fresh-baked muffin from the cafe downstairs on the deck. Delightful! Definitely going to stay here again on return visits to the area!

We loved being able to see the shops and town without getting in the car. The accommodations themselves were very nice. I would much rather stay here than any hotel I drove by in town.

Very nice and clean suite. The host Gianna she is so kind, and gets right back with you with any questions you have. In the mornings you can go down and get a muffin and coffee complimentary for your stay there at Dolce. Easy access to everything in town...

Highly recommend this cute suite in Bryson City! Tastefully decorated, super clean, perfect location! We came to hike the local area and this was a perfect stay!

The Mitchell Suite was perfect for my family of four who came to town to experience the Polar Express, which was directly across the street! We loved the coffee shop below, and it was within walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants. The space was clean, and included everything we needed for a weekend trip away.

It was better than we even expected! Incredibly convenient, clean, and very comfortable, it made for our Polar Express trip being the perfect overnight trip.

The suite could not have been more accommodating. Absolute perfect location for the Polar Express Train experience, right in the heart of Bryson City. Large suite, very clean and quiet. Super comfortable beds. We highly recommend and will stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mitchell Suite above Dolce. The apartment is comfortable, new, attractive and extremely well situated close to everything. Check in and out was easy and well communicated. The café below the unit is excellent with outstanding breakfast and friendly personnel. We'll definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in the suite. Our family truly enjoyed the convenience and the welcoming atmosphere. The bakery offerings were delicious, and the complimentary muffin and coffee were a lovely touch. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.

This property is awesome! Beautiful, clean, spacious room that is right in the middle of everything so you can walk to almost anywhere. Everything was easy and the owner is very repsonsive and timely. I loved this property! Just to let anyone know, the balcony to this room faces the back not Main St., the other room faces Main St.

We loved our stay here. Very roomy and right by the train depot so it was easy to board our 9am train ride that morning. We also tried the bakery downstairs that am and it was very good!! I would highly recommend staying here. Most of the food and stores you can walk to very easily.

The suite was very nice..exactly as pictured online. It was clean, very quiet and in a great location! The host was very kind and accommodating. The delicious muffins and coffee were a huge plus!!
