As you approach the front door, there is an open patio where you can enjoy the outdoors with your private BBQ Grill. Next you walk through the front door into a spacious enclosed porch. Turning left upon your entrance to the enclosed porch will lead you to the back of the house where you will find a master suit with a king size bed and private full bathroom. In the back of the house, you will also find another bedroom that has a full-size bed. Upon your entry to the enclosed porch walk right and you will be taken into the main living of the house where you will find a large dining room and kitchen along with a living room that looks out at the lake. Behind the kitchen you will have a one bedroom with a set of bunkbeds and another room with a queen size bed. There is also another full-size bathroom located directly between the 2 bedrooms. Walk through the living room to another enclosed porch and open patio on the font of the hours that overlooks the lake where you can watch the most beautiful sunsets upon the Adirondack Mountains.brbrTo access the living areas, you will need to be able to climb 1 flight of stairs. No there is no access to the garage and parking at the property is limited to the driveway in front of the garage doors. Do not block wrap around driveway. Caution!!! the driveway is short and steep! While we have snow removal services with sand and salt in the winter months it can be hard to navigate the driveway without 4 wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles. This property is amazing with everything you need for your stay. It has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, an office, meditation area and bathroom upstairs. The downstairs has a great room, dining room and fully functioning kitchen with most accessories. It is all decorated with the Adirondack theme.brbrWe are very close(3 miles)to the trail-head of the south end of the Northville Placid Trail. We are six miles from Lapland Cross Country Ski Resort, a very enjoyable center offering snowshoeing and cross country skiing. There is a lot of hiking and kayaking adventures just waiting for you or resting and relaxing. brbrJust so you know, we do live on the property. We may be traveling ourselves, and if so, we do have a property manager. All reviews are based on us being here. There's a private entrance and your own driveway. We also hire a professional cleaning service before and after every stay.brbrThe main living area faces the lake and has a very high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. The kitchen is fully equipped to feed the largest of groups and includes dishwasher and microwave. The enclosed sun room off the living room is the perfect place to relax in the evening. The front deck is covered and has a table and chairs as well as a gas grill. Watch the kids play in the huge lawn from the sun room or deck. There is also a washer/dryer and a clothesline under the deck. There is wireless internet. There are also two pack and plays available if needed.brbrWe have a lovely beach area with picnic table, beach chairs and fire pit. The lawn is very large and perfect for all sorts of games. There is a large dock to swim from. We also have a row boat, canoe, full size stand up paddle board, two small kayaks (sit on top style) and life jackets to use. The waterfront is about 200 yards from the house, just walk down the path, no roads to cross. There is a four person golf cart included with the rental, making it easy to move people and beach gear back and forth from the house.brbrOur house is 3 miles to Northville where there's a large grocery store, sports bar, gas station, pizza place, coffee shop, general store and a boat launch. Both the Sport Island Pub and Lanzi's are restaurants accessible by boat and car. It sleeps two upstairs in the queen bedroom, two downstairs in the twin-with-trundle, and one outside in the cabin, which also offers a roomy desk in a quiet space for those who must work on the road. The library offers a collection of books on Adirondack history, culture, politics, environment and fiction, while the projector in the living room is equipped with a Roku set to guest mode. The back porch overlooks a yard with picnic table, grill and fire pit. For those bringing littles, a swing set graces the side yard. A crib or toddler bed and changing table can be set up in the library off the queen bedroom, or the library can be rearranged to make room if you prefer to bring your own - please note which you prefer when booking. A washer and dryer allow you to pack less and travel light. The property comes with a 80' docks that can be used by guest during their stay. Please inquire about boat sizes so we can ensure to accommodate your watercraft appropriately. The waterfront is sandy and has gradual grade into the water so it perfect for families with small children to enjoy. brbrThe estate itself is a cozy 6 bedroom, 2.5 bath property that is perfect for large group retreats. This multi-family property that easily sleeps14 people comfortably and the property is divided into 2 separate living areas as described below. brbrThe first unit is a large 4-bedroom, 1-full bathroom home we call the South Shore Edgewater Chalet. (Sleeps 8 guest) Walk through the front door into a spacious 1st Floor living room, where you will find queen size pullout couch to accommodate larger groups. As you work your way through the first level, you will find a dining room table, fully loaded kitchen, and high top breakfast bar. As you walk up the stairs to the second level you will find a laundry room for guest to use through out their stay. If you work your way down the hallway there are 2 bedrooms with queens sized beds that lead to the second floor balcony over looking the amazing lake views. As you continue down to the end of the hallway on the right side is a full bathroom. Directly across from the bathroom there is another set of stairs that leads to the 3rd level that include 2 additional bedrooms with both equipped with queens sized beds. The living room along with all the bedroom have televisions and Rokus that are set up with Hulu to enjoy your favorite shows after long day on the lake. brbrThe second unit is a spacious 2-bedroom, 1-full bath and 1 half bath home we call the South Shore Edgewater Loft. (Sleeps 6 guest) As you walk through the front door you will find yourself in the first floor entryway. If you head left up the stairs it will take you to the loft. As you enter the loft you will be in the open kitchen, dining and living room area, where you will find a queen size pullout couch to accommodate larger groups. Towards the back of the loft you will find a large full bathroom and laundry room. Directly across from the full bathroom is the master bedroom outfitted with a queen size bed and huge walk-in closet to store plenty of luggage for longer stays. If you head back downstairs there is a large bedroom that has 2 bunk beds. This is very large bedroom that we have set up as a kids bunk room.brbrTo access the living areas, you will need to be able to climb at least 1 flight of stairs. There is no access to the garage, but there is ample parking at the property in the driveway. brbrExtra Costs: brThere is an extra guest fee of $50 per night after 14 guest. brThis Property is pet friendly, and requires a pet fee $50 per stay to cover your four-legged guests.brbrThis property is in the heart of Upstate New York with so many amazing attractions minutes away!!! There is boat and snowmobile rental within 1 mile at the Edinburgh Marina. 40-Minute drive to Gore Mountain Ski Resort. 30-Minute drive to West Mountain Ski Resort. In the winter months the lake freezes over and has some of Update New York’s best ice fishing!
