The main floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. Also on the main floor is a living room with sofa, love seat and a wood stove, a dining room and a modern kitchen with hickory cabinets, granite counter tops and full appliances including a dishwasher and microwave range hood. The living room and dining room have a cathedral ceiling with custom fixed glass panels that allow a beautiful wooded view of the 2.8 acre property. Finished walkout basement with a big screen TV, a sleep sofa bed, over sized recliner, a table for playing cards or board games and a full bathroom. Horseshoes and an outdoor fire pit add to the experience.brbrGuests need to supply their own towels, pillow cases and fitted sheets. We feature a master bedroom with a king bed, as well as 2 murphy style twins that are either folded away, or open in a bunk bed configuration; the second floor features 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, and a single twin tucked neatly into a loft space (kids love these!), our daylight basement boasts a queen size sleeper sofa along with a projector w/Roku for movie nights, and the main floor sunroom has both a cozy sitting area, and additional dining space. The deck off the second floor features a hot tub, and a dedicated game room in the basement features several arcade cabinets, a full-size air hockey table, and a ping pong table. The kitchen is complete with all the necessities for preparing a home cooked meal, and there's a Weber grill just outside as well. Our large front deck extends the full width of the house, and offers the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure, or to enjoy your morning coffee as the lake comes to life. brWe've provided everything you'll need to have a relaxing, and memorable stay, and truly believe our house is the perfect retreat for your family getaway, whether your family is large or small! The only items we don't supply are beach towels, and personal toiletries.brbrThis property does have 3 exterior cameras. One camera views the driveway, a second is positioned to see the back door to the house (this is the main entrance), and a third views the front yard. All 3 are plainly visible. With trail heads right up the street, you can hike, bike, fish, hunt, ski, snowmobile, snowshoe, raft, kayak and tube, explore the region, R&R or sled on Dynamite Hill! 5 minutes off route 87, and 20 minutes from Lake George.brThe spacebrThe Barn has an open floor plan downstairs flowing from kitchen to living/dining area and one bathroom with newly renovated full bath/shower. Upstairs there is a dedicated office space overlooking the living room and an open loft with 2 twin beds, then 2 private bedrooms with two beds each (1 Queen and twin and 2 full size beds). There are closets in each room, dresser and a wardrobe.brGuest accessbrThe entire home/barn is private access to guests.brOther things to notebrPlease note that although there are towels available for guests these will have to be washed and dried prior to guest departure and the machine is small. Please consider bringing your own towels to take back to your home to launder. The beds are made with sheets and bedspreads. Summer weight comforters and Winter duvets with covers are all kept in the wardrobe. The mattresses and pillows are fully encased with waterproof/bed bug free covers.brbrWe allow pets but would like to limit it to one dog for an additional pet fee of $50. Our Adirondack Vacation House is located in Chestertown NY. It is convenient to shopping in The Supermarket within walking distance, The Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street and other restaurants. The house is clean, very spacious which makes ideal for an extended family, clean and newly furnished. She is an old girl with some creaky floors upstairs but that is the nature of this eclectic and Historic Lady. brThere is plenty of space to accommodate a large group with our Family Room and Livingroom, Dining room, Kitchen and another dining area. All of our six bedrooms are on the second floor. There are two full baths upstairs and one full bath downstairs next to the kitchen.brOur cedar wood fence surrounding the private heated seasonal in-ground pool is just the right remedy from the midday sun. brWe have a gas barbecue grill, a screened in porch and a deck on the second floor. You can ride your bicycles to Loon Lake and to Horseback riding across from the Lake or to Circle B Ranch. Lake George is only 15 to 20 minutes away. Great skiing at Gore Mt. is 15 minutes away as is White-water rafting in the Hudson. Loon lake with its nice sandy beach is only a 3 minute drive from us. There are hiking trails nearby and Rivers to go fishing in.brPool opens Memorial Day until late September weather permitting. Ask host to make sure.
