In the winter go skiing at nearby Mount Sunapee, just 3 minutes away. Snowmobile access is right down the road and don't forget ice fishing.brInside to the right is the a well appointed kitchen with new appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and Keurig combo unit and all the pots and pans and cooking utensils you will need to make meals just like at home.br Next to the kitchen is the bathroom with a large shower stall, towels, shampoo and soap.br Walk through the kitchen and turn into the living room and dinning room space. Sit and eat your meals overlooking the lake or lounge in the living room and enjoy the 43 inch Roku flat screen TV. Lay in bed and enjoy the view of the lake or watch a movie at night on the 50 inch Roku flat screen TV. For those desiring a bit of inside exercise enjoy the lake view on the stationary bike. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, situated along a long hallway with stairs to the kitchen and front entrance room in the classic style of an New England inn. On the third floor, guests have a bathroom and their choice of 4 bedrooms. A large porch wraps around the outside and provides extra space outside for eating and relaxing in the summer months. brbrThere are 2 UHD televisions with Roku (Netflix, Amazon etc.) and traditional cable channels. In the main kitchen, a large commercial gas stove and oven provide ample cooking horsepower. There is also a second kitchen above the garage. Two restaurant/bars are within walking distance. Wildwood Smokehouse restaurant is a five-minute walk down the road just past the Sugar River footbridge and is open year round. Weekly vacation rental on Perkins Pond with sandy beach and dock for power boat. A cleaning fee and taxes apply. House is rented from Saturday to Saturday. Enjoy coffee on the deck overlooking Perkins Pond at Sunrise or maybe later. Greet the Ducks, Geese and Loons during their morning cruises. Then there’s plenty of time for a swim in the warm water. This shallow pond warms quickly in Spring and is good for swimming until late September unlike the deeper nearby lakes. Perkins Pond offers 160 acres for fishing, water skiing, tubing, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing and is seldom crowded. The largest resident powerboat is 23’. We suggest 20’ maximum. A picnic lunch on the lawn or deck will likely include waves and greetings from friendly neighbors as they enjoy their yards and boats. Gas and charcoal grills as well as picnic tables and lots of chairs are provided. An evening fire in the Chiminea is a great place to gather after a fun day. The game room has a pool table, foosball and air hockey for rainy days and after dark. There are 3 bedrooms with AC. One has a king bed and the other 2 have queens. The Great Room has a queen pull-out sofa-bed. Other amenities include: Washer/Dryer Full-size electric range, Dishwasher Microwave Two TV’s with Xfinity Cable, Internet and unlimited calls in the US. Two refrigerators. Full complement of kitchen ware and Central station fire alarm Our home is no smoking, vaping or pets. Our local agent will be the host.
