Sunapee Barn Retreat

We absolutely loved our time in this cottage. The kitchen is beautiful and user friendly. The rooms are spacious and modern. The master bath is luxurious. And Sunapee is our favorite place in the whole world do the setting was perfect.

Our family of 9 (ages ranging from 4 months to retirement age) stayed for 7 days to attend a family wedding. We appreciated there being a pack-and-play for our baby to sleep in as it was one thing we didn’t have to lug from home (although we forgot to bring a crib sheet for it and didn’t find one there). The house was well appointed and had a great layout for the family dynamic (one bedroom downstairs with the kitchen and family area) and rest upstairs. The kitchen had all necessities and more. There were plenty of toys and games which the kids loved. There were even sand toys in the garage for use at the beach! The mini-split air conditioners were awesome (allows every room to control their temperatures individually). Proximity to Lake Sunapee and surrounding area is great, everything is 20 mins or less. If I had to come up with some constructive feedback, it would be limited to requesting a few additional pillows in the closet. Thank you for a great stay!

This is a beautiful home! Stunning interior design includes handsome furniture, high-end appliances in amazing kitchen and gorgeous bathrooms. It is very roomy and comfortable. The cleanliness was very much appreciated!

The house had a great modern renovation, and was well stocked. Kitchen had lots of high-end supplies that made our stay and cooking multiple meals for several people very comfortable. We loved the large open floor plan and plenty of room for everyone to hang out together. Also love that every room has its own mini split (we stayed during some very hot days) so temperature could be controlled individually. There’s also an adorable upstairs sitting area that had toys for kids to play with. Only thing that could’ve made this stay even better is if there was direct access to the lake without having to drive. However, the cute public beach that they provide a parking pass for, was a great place to hang out on the hot days we were there. I would definitely recommend this property for larger groups, with or without kids who want to be able to all hang out together. Lastly, The host was kind and easily accessible. Great property!

very excessive and well equiped

My family and I stayed to attend the Colby-Sawyer College graduation. We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful, comfortable, clean & had everything we needed. Both the host and local co-host were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to friends and family.

I was here with my girls and their kids to visit my mom and my sister who live in NH and havent got to visit in 4 yrs. Was the perfect space for everyone to visit and spend time together. Everything was perfect as far as space and beauty and luxury.

We stayed the third week of August. Everything about the listing was accurate. Shaheer was a great host and informed us that the local cohost would be the contact person if we had any needs or problems, and he was also available should we need him. The house was more beautiful in person. Instructions on how to use the mini split units were clear and easy to follow. We were very comfortable. There was ample space to be together or to have privacy. The guidebook helped with local attractions and restaurants. We appreciated all the eco friendly furnishings throughout the home.Beds were great! If we come back to the Sunapee area we would definitely want to stay here again.

Just bring your toothbrush and enjoy! Very clean, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of games for family fun. It’s a beautiful house near the lake and beach. The hosts were lovely and always available. We will definitely book again!
