Offering great fishing and a scenic shoreline for kayaking, paddleboarding and boating. Welcoming home with large, eat in kitchen, dining room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room and deck with outside seating for up to 12 people. Grill with your choice of charcoal or gas. If you feel like fresh air dining, walk over to the gazebo and enjoy your dinner there. A short hill to the waters edge where you can dock your boat and enjoy the natural shoreline. A mix of old and new in this oversized home with amazing, private water frontage, and, if you choose, walk 150 yards to the sandy, shared beach! In the main house you will find beds to sleep 11 people AND there is a detached little bunkhouse/garage that will sleep 3 more (The bunkhouse is only available Mid May through Mid October). A lot of home to relax in! Walk through the front door of the main house into the dining room, and kitchen off the dining room. The dining room opens up to the main living room with a huge, comfy couch, TV, a wonderful stone fireplace, and a few day beds for those afternoon naps, or to keep the little ones close by. There is a main level bedroom, as well, with 2 Twin beds. The most amazing feature is the 3 season porch with ample seating and a table for dining, with windows showcasing the Highland Lake waterfront that is yours for your stay. The Second floor of the main house has 2 full bathrooms, one of them holds your washer and dryer, and 3 bedrooms (King bed, Queen bed, and Full bed). But there is more, in the loft, up the spiral staircase, there you will find 2 Twin beds. brbrA few steps away from the main house front door is a bunkhouse/garage. Here you will find the first floor bathroom with step in shower. This is the perfect location to run to from the waterfront - and you wont traipse in any sand to the main house. Upstairs in this little bungalow, you will find a Queen bed and a Twin bed. Bring any or all and enjoy.brbrOther Things to Note:brQuiet hours in this location start at 10 p.m. and are strictly enforced. Please note that any violation of this rule will be reported to the authorities by local residents. Violations will result in loss of security deposit, eviction, and loss of nightly rates. brbrThere is direct access to the lake at this location but due to the condition of the sand underneath it is difficult to swim. We do not recommend direct swimming at this location. The best swimming is a short walk down the rail trail at the Highland Lake Beach. You can easily launch a stand up paddle board, kayak, or canoe. brbrThere is a steep hill leading down to the waterfront. People with mobility issues may have difficultly walking up and down the hill. brbrThe finished basement access requires that guests leave the house and walk through the attached garage. The garage is not heated. The bathroom in this space does not have a shower, it has a tub only. brbrThe three season porch overlooking the lake does not have heat. Although it will be available for use during the winter, we do not recommend using it as a living space. brbrThere are two portable A/C units one for the master bedroom and one that can be used in the dining space.
