This isn`t your grandpas A-Frame with a metal spiral staircase and open loft with shag carpet (although we love those too). The layout is spacious and each bedroom has it`s own charm and privacy. The open concept kitchen/dining and living space allows your entire group to unwind, cook and connect. In addition to the bedrooms, there is a small loft with a work area and game nook. We kept the design modern with a touch of whimsy. Some standout features include the beautifully tiled showers and the polished concrete floors that have pieces of Petoskey stone and Leland blue stones from our own beach adventures hidden throughout. Stay cozy with in floor radiant heat and a powerful gas fireplace in the winter and enjoy AC throughout the house in the warmer months. This cabin sits on 8 wild wooded acres. The open floor plan, living room- kitchen is perfect for conversation, family meals and games. brbrThere are three bedrooms, two full baths, and a popular outdoor shower, plus a large family room giving you lots of space to spread out. brThe 1st bedroom and second bedrooms have queen beds, the 3rd bedrooms has a bunk with twin over double bed. Kids love the hand carved turtles and raccoons on their beds. The den has a futon couch/bed, TV, DVD player, bar and game table. The family room makes a nice mini-suite, or a great place for the kids to hang-out.brbrFrom the front deck we've seen turtles, otter, deer, grouse, and eagles. The shallow lake entry area is perfect for play. Dark Skies make this a fabulous place to watch for meteor showers and Northern Lights (we've seen both many times) The dock has room for your boat or make it your private fishing pier. Our area of the lake is popular with the fisherman who know the good spots.. Two kayaks and a canoe are included for a quiet morning paddle. Serve meals on the old-style pine picnic table and choose between charcoal grill or gas flat top, making outdoor cooking a pleasure. Retire to the oversize hammock to read a book or take a nap. When it's time to clean up head for the outdoor shower with dressing area.
