Driftwood Bistro is my sister's favorite restaurant and is on Jekyll island (I think it's good too).brbrCumberland Island is also extremely interesting to visit. You have to make a reservation to ride the boat over. It is a bit of a drive from SSI but well worth it. They have wild horses and other wildlife. Also some really rich family used to own the island. Think it was the Carnegies. I would recommend you take the guided tour. It is a little pricey but so interesting. brbrDeep sea fishing - lots of charters that you can catch at the marina or the pier (we have not done this though).brbrDowntown Brunswick. Lots of cute restaurants and shops and they have made a bunch of films there. Very interesting.brbrFinally, the Island is very fun to explore. You may just decide to stay on the Island to be quite honest.

Located in the south Island area, our condo is one and a half miles from East Beach and the Pier area. We always keep the condo immaculately clean. It is perfect for one or as many as four using an expensive, king sized Harvest green organic mattress, a pullout queen sleeper sofa and a twin pullout love seat. Both couches are brand new. Get the best sleep you have ever had on this awesome mattress. The condo is adjacent to the Starbucks, Chick Fliet, Ember, Mas, Winn Dixie Grocery, McDonalds and many other restaurants. Redfern Village, where many other restaurants and shops are located, is just around the corner. The public beach, East Beach and the Pier Village and lighthouse are about a mile and a half away. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook any meal, including coffee maker and keurig pod maker, toasters, pots, pan, cookie sheet, knife set,coffee mugs etc. The condo is tastefully and professionally decorated in modern Island stylings and is steeped in luxurious high end furnishing, linens, kitchen utensils, and HD TV's. There is a 58 inch HD Smart TV in the living room and a 50 inch HD TV in the bedroom and don't miss this, you will get over 150 channels. We get xfinity cable and streaming. Why be without your Netflicks or other content provider when you can stream them in our condo on a large TV. The free wireless internet is super fast at 150 mbps. Stream your favorite movies or shows with no delays. The comforter on the bed is very high end like you would see at a high end hotel. My wife and I believe that it is the small things that make our guests vacation lodging special and one of those is having the best of everything in the condo. From a high end all organic mattress that provides a great nights sleep, too free wireless high speed internet and HD TV's in the living room and bedroom, we want your experience to be the finest. The pool, fitness center and tennis / pickle ball courts, which are open year round, are super close to the condo at about 100 paces. The condo also comes with a washing machine and dryer and we supply laundry pods. Plus, the unit is about 100 yards from the gate so when you go for a bike ride you don't spend all your time and energy biking a long distance through a complex or neighborhood, like other vacation rentals. Our goal is for you to want to stay with us every time you visit, have a unique experience and for you to brag to your friends that you found the greatest place at a steal. This townhome is an end unit with an easy walk over to the pool, tennis courts, playground or lake. Very neat and tidy, nice bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Outdoor space is great for dining out or evening cocktails.The complex offers two pools, fitness room, playground, clubhouse, and is a very easy 1/2 mile walk to the village, pier, lighthouse area of the beach. The island has great restaurants, golf cart and bicycle rentals and a large grocery store within 1 mile. We are about 15 minutes to the mainland and about 20 to Jekyll Island. Savannah airport is about 80 miles away and Jacksovilles is about 70.
