Rockies 2103A - Updated Condo w/ Private Washer/Dryer - Hot Tub & Outdoor Pool - Free Bus Route

Steamboat Springs, Colorado, United States

** Discounts on Ski & Snowboard Rentals, Airport Shuttles br** Discounts offered for lengthy stays brbrThe Rockies 2103A, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, is a beautifully renovated and updated condo. From the floors to the ceiling and everything in between, this condo has great quality. It is a ground floor unit with a covered patio and an enjoyable flat yard space. Onsite at this development you'll find lots of open space, a large heated pool and 2 hot tubs, a clubhouse with lounge, ping pong, BBQ grills and picnic areas. It also has a very convenient location within walking distance of Gondola Square, restaurants, shops, and activities. You can walk to the slopes or ride the free city bus.brbrLocation:brThe Rockies Condos are located right below the Steamboat Grand, which is right across the street from Gondola Square. You're also not too far from shopping centers and the Yampa River. From this condo, it's a flat easy walk less than 100 yards to the free city bus stop on Cornice Road. The city bus service is year round, and does a short loop to Gondola Square, the Central Park shopping center, and then back to The Rockies. Walking to the ski area base is very doable for most people. If you walk about 100 yards up to the bend in Cornice Road, there is a sidewalk that leads up to the Steamboat Grand, about another 100 yards. Then you head slightly downhill towards Gondola Square and Ski Time Square. If you're not wearing ski boots, and carrying gear, the walk is pretty easy, a good way to warm up your legs before hitting the slopes. You can store your skis and boots in Gondola Square, and if you'll be renting ski and snowboard equipment, storage is free! Ask about our discounts on rentals! In spring, summer, and fall, walking around the base area is pleasant, easy, and there is no shortage of activities, restaurants, and shops to visit. You can hike or bike from your door right up into the national forest, or head the other direction and follow the sidewalk along Mt Werner Road right down to the Yampa River and Core Trail. This condo has a good and convenient location!brbrThe Property:brThree are a lot of dated old condos out there. This one is not! When you book this property, you're reserving a place to stay which has been thoroughly and beautifully renovated throughout. It has high quality finishes and furniture. Features include granite counters, hardwood floors, new cabinets, new appliances, new fixtures, paint and tile, carpet and linens, there's even a new fireplace. The style and decor has both a western and contemporary flair that blends well. The living room has plenty of seating, with a queen sleeper sofa and a leather loveseat. The living room also has a wall mounted HDTV with a soundbar and warm gas fireplace. A large sliding glass door provides direct access to the covered patio. Off the patio is a flat yard space that is either grassy or snowy, a nice bonus in any season. brbrThe dining room and kitchen are adjacent to and open to the living room, giving you one nice large space to enjoy. The dining table seats 6 and is ideal for games as well as meals. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, two toned upper and lower cabinetry, white counters and backsplash, and is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up some delicious treats. The bedroom is a good size, with plenty of space for the Queen bed plus matching end tables and dresser. Like the rest of the condo, this furniture and the mattress are new in 2020. Just across the hall is the condo's bathroom. If you have a larger group and are making use of the sleeper sofa, this is perfect. It's a split bathroom, with a doorway between the vanity area on one side and the toilet, shower and bathtub on the other. So one person could be taking a shower while another brushes their teeth. Not only is the bathroom very functional, it is also very nice. A large vanity provides lots of counter space, plus drawers if you like to put things away. The tub and shower has new 12 by 24 tile with a built in nook for your products, and clear glass doors to complete the look. Also, this bathroom is large enough to accommodate a stacked washer and dryer, in case you need to dry some wet mittens or prefer to travel light. brbrAccess: brThe ground floor location of the condo means easy access, which can be really nice after a long day of skiing, hiking, or biking, not to mention when you have luggage or groceries to carry. From the parking lot, to the front door, you'll walk down 7 stairs. Once you're inside, everything is on one floor. There are no stairs. There is also a boardwalk that leads from the unit past the volleyball court, straight to the pool and hot tub area, where you'll also find heated restrooms. brbrPrivate Amenities - This condo has:br-- 1 ski lockerbr-- In-unit Washer & Dryerbr-- Free WiFibrbrShared Amenities - This development has:br-- Free city bus which picks up and drops off less than 100 yards from this condo (year round)br-- 1 Outdoor Heated Pool (open seasonally in ski season and summer, please inquire for more information)br-- 2 Outdoor Hot Tubs (open seasonally in ski season and summer, please inquire for more information)br-- Clubhouse with lounge and ping pong table br-- BBQ grills and Outdoor Dining br-- Sand Volleyball Courtbr-- Large Parking LotbrbrSummary:brThis condo has great quality, reasonable prices, good amenities, and a convenient location. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. Please let us know if you have any concerns. br** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc. brbrSteamboat Springs STR License # STR20252040

Dining for 6 is adjacent to the kitchen and living room, making it easy for larger groups to enjoy time together without feeling cramped. The living room couch is a sleeper sofa that offers lots of comfortable seating focused around the large HDTV and gas fireplace. A door leads out to your covered balcony which is more than double the size you'll find at most rental condos. This outdoor space is a treat with views that sweep across the beautifully landscaped grounds up to the national forest and ski slopes. Ride the gondola up the mountain and look down to spot your condo! The bed setup in Champagne Lodge 3307 is great for lots of different types of groups. Remember this, though, If you don't feel like walking, or there is inclement weather, all you have to do is call the front desk for the free private shuttle. It is available during ski season and can transport you to the slopes or anywhere else in town! That said, this location really is a pretty short walk from the heart of the ski area base - Steamboat Square. The Mountain Sneak trail runs right past Champagne Lodge, and leads directly to the slopes. Within about 300 meters, you'll come to Apres Ski Way. You can ski right back to this point, conditions permitting. Here you'll also find a small grocery, deli, restaurant, liquor and wine store called The Wild Plum. You'll also find a ski rental shop, burger joint, and Storm Peak Brewery's beer hall. Cross the street and walk another 100 meters and you'll be at the edge of Steamboat Square. That's right, you only walk about 400 meters from this condo to the slopes and the center of our resort's base area! Besides the slopes, the ski school is the first thing you come to. It is very easy to drop off your kids and head back to the condo or up onto the slopes, as well as to pick them up when you're heading home. In fact, with a very straightforward walk, only crossing one intersection with a 4 way stop and crosswalks, many kids can head home without assistance. The two Gondolas, the Christie Peak Express lift, and the ticket office are right here too. So are many restaurants and bars, free concerts, special events, and activities galore. In summer, the base area is so kid friendly, with lots of activities to enjoy. Burgess Creek flows through the base area with a controlled water level that flows through at a level that is ideal for kids who want to splash around. There are beaches and plenty of places to relax along the creek and there are many restaurants and bars, so its a popular place. With a large stage, this area plays host to movie nights, free concerts, art shows, hot air balloon glows, and more. Don't forget, the ski area sits on national forest. So your condo is literally right next to a national forest trailhead. You can hike or bike from your door! You can also ride up the Gondola for food, beverages, amazing views, sunsets, or to hike and bike around to the highest parts of the ski area with a 2000 vertical foot head start! This area is also connected to other trails too. The Mountain Sneak trail, Mt. Werner trail, and Burgess Creek trail all converge within 400 meters of the Champagne Lodge. These paved trails are perfect for walking, strolling, and they connect with the Yampa River Core Trail, which leads to downtown Steamboat, the Emerald Mountain trail system, and beyond. Everything is right out your door. brbrArrival, Access, and Parking:brOnce you book, we're here to support you. We provide you with arrival instructions and answers to any specific questions you might have. As long as the elevator is in service, accessing this property does not require any stairs. If not, or if you prefer stairs, it's just two flights up or down between the condo and the ground floor pool area and three flights to the heated underground parking, where you have one assigned and reserved space. Please look for and review any Rental Agreement terms, House Rules, and or Terms and Conditions presented during the online booking process. After booking, a Vacation Rental Agreement will be provided. All guests are required to sign the agreement within 72 hours of booking, and prior to occupying the property. There may be other requirements. For example, Guests may be required to provide additional information about the group that will occupy the property and or identification documents. Background checks may be performed, and in some areas are required by local law. Guests may be required to provide a credit card and or a refundable security/damage deposit. We will be in touch after you book to gather additional information and to email you the rental agreement, which you can sign electronically - no printer required. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before booking.br** Amenities - Some private or shared amenities may not be available for guest use during certain periods. Some amenities, when part of a property, may close daily, seasonally, or for maintenance. As such, all amenities can not be guaranteed to be available at all times. Please advise us when or before booking if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates.br** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.br** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.br** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on. If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc. brbrSTR20252558
