The gas cooktop has a two burner griddle that makes the best pancakes, french toast, and grilled cheese sandwiches. We now have two full size stainless steel refrigerators in the kitchen. The first is quite large, has side-by-side doors with an easy in/out door embedded inside the door, and an external ice and water dispenser. The second refrigerator is meant for overflow, drinks, large trays, and doubles our fridge capacity. We recently added a bulk ice maker for filling coolers. There is a brand new super quiet Bosch dishwasher. For the sous chef in you, there is a second sink in the island with a disposal - very convenient for chopping everything up. A large dining table seats ten comfortably, 4+ can fit at the bar, and 4 more at the pub table. There is also a 6' folding table and chairs that can be brought out for another 6-8 dining seats, depending on how you want to lay things out. brbrOut the sliding glass doors you'll find an expansive back deck. There is a natural gas fire pit for keeping warm and making smores under the starlit sky, as well as a Weber natural gas grill for steaks and burgers. There is an enormous 14' long outdoor King Arthur dining table made from recycled redwood that seats 16+ people comfortably. Below the deck is an extra large luxury hot tub where eight people can relax and soak together while recounting the days exploits. brbrWe have lots of big summer toys available - 2 kayaks, 3 standup paddle boards, roof mount straps and foam protectors, 7 bikes, beach sand toys, squirt guns, tennis rackets, croquet, cornhole, a wagon for carrying everything, and lots more. brbrIn the winter we have a variety of sleds and snow discs, snow shoes, as well as lots of shovels for building snow forts. We have even built a luge/bobsled run during one epic winter that went about 150'. brbrOn the main level, you will find the large master bedroom #1 with vaulted pine ceilings, king bed, access to the back deck, a master bathroom with an oversized shower and a separate jetted tub, twin sinks, and a spacious walk in closet with two luggage stands. brbrNext to the master bedroom there is another bedroom #2 with a queen bed in it. We often set this up as an office when every bedroom is not needed. If you set it up this way, we have a 42 monitor and printer available, just bring your HDMI or DisplayPort/Thunderbolt laptop. There is also a 32 monitor in the cubby/desk in the kitchen.brbrDownstairs there is an oversized second master bedroom #3 with a king size log bed, another bedroom #4 with a Queen bed, and the playroom/bunkroom/bedroom #5 has a twin over full log bunk bed as well as a twin bed along with two large couches, a TV and a game area.brbrAbove everything is the kids loft bunkroom/playroom/bedroom #6 which has been fully enclosed with soundproof bank glass. It has a twin over full log bunk bed as well as two more twin beds. brbrThere is also a bonus room located on the upper level with a queen bed - note that the ceiling height is a bit short, having a sloped ceiling that starts out at 7' on one side and descends gently to about 3' on the far side. The room is decent sized at about 13' wide but a bit narrow at 7'. As a 7th bedroom with full privacy, its wonderful.brbrTwo of the bedrooms (those with bunk beds) are generally intended as playrooms for the kids and both have TV's, XBox One's, books, games, and toys. The downstairs bunkroom/playroom has two full sized couches for TV watching and XBox action, and a big ottoman for gathering around and game playing. The upstairs bunkroom/playroom has a TV and XBox One. One of the oldest original condominiums at Northstar-At-Tahoe ski resort. A lovely 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, with pull out sleeper couch and also two single futon mattresses to sleep a maximum of 6. Fully stocked and newly remodeled kitchen and newly remodeled bathroom. Cozy gas fireplace keeps the condo toasty warm. Absolutely HIGHEST condo on the ski trail run. Fun sledding at the water tank right out the back door! Beautiful stain glass make this get away a special location you might want to re-visit year after year. Welcome to our beautiful home! While surrounded by the beauty and serenity of the Lake Tahoe area, you will have all the amenities, conveniences and connectivity you enjoy at home. The open floor plan great room features a fully equipped chef's kitchen including a Nespresso VertuoLine (we love to cook and are serious about our morning coffee!), a large island with 4 bar stools, a dining table that seats 8, a game table, a gas starter wood fireplace and a TV with all the aps (apple TV, Netflix, Hulu etc) . A custom built artisan 10' shuffleboard table has also been installed for fun indoor activities on those rainy/snowy days. The large deck off the great room has a gas barbecue (direct from the house so never runs out!) as well as patio furniture in the summer. High speed WifFi throughout the house makes remote work a breeze (though as with all mountain living, can be subject to power outages) As we have 2 boys of our own the house is very kid friendly. brbrOur home is located within a short walk the Donner Downhill ski area (0.2miles away with a BRAND NEW LODGE for 2026!) and trails are ½ mile away and in easy walking distance for snowshoeing, hiking and mountain biking. There is an attached 3 car garage and ample driveway parking for additional cars (4) . A mile away are the Trout Creek Recreation Center, Golf Course and driving range/sledding hill. brbrbrThe Trout Creek Recreation Center offers hot tubs (three of them!), a large swimming pool (summer), a separate lap pool (heated in winter), saunas, fitness center, classes and health spa. Tahoe Donner also has an outstanding tennis center, cross country/equestrian/mountain biking center and a small downhill ski area. There is a private beach for swimming and boating at Donner Lake Marina 5 miles away. brbr** New starting Jan 2026- Access to private Tahoe Donner amenities have changed for ALL homes and is based on homeowner providing renters individual guest cards with their rental. The home is also at 6800ft and receives much more snow than in Truckee proper. AWD is a must for any home access in this area of Tahoe Donner. Driveway is plowed once daily but it is not uncommon for the town of Truckee to plow higher elevation roads last. There will be no refunds due to weather and factors out of our control.
