The Hitch unit is 3 bedroom + loft, 3 bath, and sleeps 8, 2 car parking. This pet friendly, classic cabin located on Donner Pass Road is one of our direct lake access units and takes full advantage of the spectacular lake and mountain views. Public docks are available across the street on a first come, first served basis. 4-wheel drive is required for this home during the Winter. The parking pad is located on West Reed Avenue and can accommodate 2 vehicles. Descend 20 stairs to the wrap around front deck/main entrance and enter directly into the kitchen and dining areas. The recently remodeled kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a gas cook top, and attached pantry/laundry room. The dining and living areas are connected to form a single, well appointed great room with wood burning fireplace, cathedral ceilings with exposed wood beams, floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass door that provide access to the wrap around back deck and take advantage of the panoramic lake and mountain views. Enjoy the fantastic views on the large back deck with comfortable patio furniture and covered BBQ nook, or descend 19 stairs to the lower deck for more shade. Continue down the 32 step private staircase to Donner Pass Road where the lake and public docks are accessible just across the street. The master bedroom is located on the main level and has a queen sized bed, TV, DVD/VCR, and access to the adjoining bathroom. The bathroom has an over-sized single sink vanity, toilet, and large shower stall with sliding glass doors and is accessible from both the hallway and master bedroom. The loft features a recently remodeled bathroom with a single sink vanity and granite counter top, toilet, and tub/shower combo. The enclosed bedroom has a queen sized bed as well as a queen sized futon couch on the landing. The kids' room occupies the entire downstairs with a twin over twin bunk bed, a twin over full bunk bed, TV, DVD/VCR, and adjoining bathroom. This bathroom has a single sink vanity, toilet, and small shower stall. There is also access to a storage room that opens up onto the lower deck. This unit is a vacation rental in the Summer and ski lease in the Winter. **FOR 4TH OF JULY THERE IS A 7 NIGHT MINIMUM REQUIRED.** This unit rents Friday to Friday in the Summer.     Great stay. Beautiful views and location. True 3 bed, 3 bath. Could use some high dusting. Several cobwebs up high.

    The location just can’t be beat. This is our second time staying here and loved it. Only thing I could say was the cleaning could have been better with some spider webs and a few dead flies around but otherwise great. I let management know this and they were going to follow up with the cleaning crew as well. I appreciated their follow up there too!
