The garage can safely house up to two cars. You can also store winter snow gear or rent mountain bikes in the summer months. brbrWhile folks from Nor Cal will understand, most people new to Tahoe will be surprised to find that most homes do not have A/C. How could a home in 2022 not have A/C?? Good question, but this is Tahoe.. nature’s air conditioning turns on every day from about 5pm onwards (and in until 10AM). We suggest opening windows close to 10 or 11am, and leaving them open until bed time. Even on warm summer days, the breeze from the lake and mountains will not only fill the home with the sweetest smelling fresh air, but will cool off the house quickly by dinner time. brbrbrTHE AREAbrbrTo help you make the most of your time here, see our Lake Tahoe Destination Guide after you book, a comprehensive resource with details about the history, wildlife, landmarks, destinations and recreation opportunities you’ll find at North America’s epic alpine lake. brbrNestled on the mountainside with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, you will feel completely peaceful as you sip your morning coffee overlooking the majestic blue lake that has made Tahoe world renown.
