Beautiful property, great location, wonderful neighbors. Instructions for access to property were a bit vague but we figured it out with the kind help of the next-door neighbor. We would highly recommend the Homestead Haus to anyone looking for a Tahoe getaway!
Very nice overall, with the exception that there was no closet of any kind in the bedroom, though lots of clothes hooks. The bathroom was very good for a small cabin. The kitchen was similarly adequate, though no dishwasher which you wouldn’t expect in a cabin. There should be some sort of rail on the front and back stairs, especially. Potentially very dangerous, we had a fall, but a relatively easy fix.
Very good!
Everything was as advertised. Very clean nice little cabin. Good choice for a relaxing getaway near Lake Tahoe. The only negative was it was a little warm in the dead of summer with no air conditioning. Still the standup fan provided cooled us off enough at night that it wasn't a problem. I would reserve this place again.
Sweet little cabin in the woods, perfect for a family of four...The kids sleeped upstairs (they liked having their own space) so much better than a hotel room. Our room was tiny and cozy....Great size bathroom, kitchen was well equipped and outside back patio was a perfect spot to sit for a spell in the evening...until Mr. Bear ran by....then it was back in the cabin....we are after all a guest in his home.
Clean property that was the perfect size for our family. Stairway to loft was a bit dangerous for our two year old. We borrowed a gate from some friends to keep him safely upstairs or downstairs. Would recommend bringing one if you have small children.
