Stayed Mar 19, 2026Great cabin for the whole family. Enjoy the hot tub after a day of sking or play one of the many board games next to the fire. The dog run is a great perk for pets.

Stayed Feb 27, 2026This was an excellent vacation cabin for my family. We brought 2 young children and 3 dogs with associated adults and everything was perfect including the fenced in area that was great for night time outings. The hot tub and steam showers were also very much enjoyed!Thank you for making our reunion a success.

Stayed Dec 21, 2024We had a wonderful week at the Log Lodge. This property is very unique and has a lot of history in the house itself and also in the carefully curated collection of art and other fun antique artifacts that the owners have decorated it with. The property itself is larger than most Tahoe area lots, and the dog-friendly policy was wonderful for us. There is even a fenced-in dog area behind the house that kept our furry loved ones safe and happy. The property managers are very friendly, cooperative and responsive if needed. We will definitely be staying there again.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024We had a great stay at Log Lodge. Plenty of room for 4 couples and an infant. Walk to the public chambers beach took about 8 minutes. We appreciated the stocked kitchen; spices, storage bags, olive oil…. The outdoor area is fantastic! With plenty of seating and several enjoyable swings. We were really happy with the dog run. What keeps me from giving this property 5 stars is the deep cleanliness. Along walls, outlets under beds, corners were really dirty. Additionally, this cabin is really dark in spite of soooo many lamps. Some new lightbulbs would really be an improvement. We would definitely stay here again. As a side note, they’re not kidding about the bears. One walked on to the property as we were sitting out back!

Stayed Jun 24, 20241. Excellent Location. Easily accessable to Lake Tahoe at Chambers public beach - dogs welcome on beach. 2. Home had large private lot and fenced dog area. 3. Lighting of the house was very dim. Needs higher watt light bulbs. 4. Primary bedroom bath whirlpool did not have a safety grab rail. Easy to slip getting in and out of the deep tub. 5. Gill and fire pit worked well. 6. Kids had fun with the pool table.

Stayed Aug 9, 2023We really enjoyed our stay in this unique home. We had a few issues that were attended to quickly by management. I was told the home was walking distance to the beach, but I did not realize it was across the main road from the beach which meant the kids could not walk alone. The kitchen was well-equipped for all of our cooking needs. The beds in the second and third rooms were small for couples, but Ok for the kids. The outdoor space was very inviting and we enjoyed using the jacuzzi and sitting around the propane fire pit. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the cabin and learning about the history behind it. Overall we would use this property again. The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because it is challenging to have to go through Tahoe City to pick up the keys and return them. A simple code lock could fix that. Also, there are some issues with the home that need to be fixed (ie; plumbing in second bath and the front door locking mechanism). These were just minor inconveniences though. We still enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed Jul 19, 2023This is a lovely home and well appointed, 5 minute walk to Chambers beach. The house is spacious and full of interesting knick knacks, memorabilia and games. Lots of backyard space to enjoy as well. It is a bit dark and there is some noise from the road but when you're inside it is quiet.
