The walking/biking trails will also lead you to Moondunes Beach, one of the most beautiful hidden white sand beaches on the lake. brWalk or ride your bike to Spindleshanks where they have one of the best Happy Hours (7 days a week!!!) on the North Shore. And then you don’t have to worry about drinking and driving as it’s a 15 minute walk away…. Or go there for breakfast or lunch. They even have a large outdoor deck overlooking the golf course. Walk/ride/or Uber your way to many other appealing restaurants, shops, café’s located in Kings Beach... a few minutes away. The casinos are located right on the Nevada/California border which is a 5 minute drive away as well. brHop on the bus for a quick ride to Northstar, just 10 minutes away or head out to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Diamond Peak, Mount Rose or Homewood for some winter skiing and riding or hiking and biking in the summer.brThe Old Brockway Golf course is a block away.
