Coming to Tahoe during the Winter requires a lot of patience and a sense of adventure.brbr**NO AC**brThis home, like most in Tahoe, does not have AC but we do provide fans.brbr**HIGH FIRE RISK**brLake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are strictly prohibited.brbr**BEARS**brBears and other wildlife frequent this area so make sure to lock up when you leave the home, always lock your car doors, roll up car windows and view from afar. brbr**CRITTERS**brSpiders, cobwebs and little mountain mice are common in the mountains. brbr**TOWELS**brWe supply one bath towel and one wash cloth per permitted occupant and then one hand towel per bathroom. If you think you will need more then please bring with you. brbr**SECURITY**brMost of our homes have exterior only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance but we take our guests privacy VERY seriously. During the Winter months, it is also a short walk from the Gondola where Heavenly Ski Resort can be accessed. Everything is so close here you won’t even need your car! Keep in mind, this condo is on the top floor that is only reached by walking up 3 flights of stairs. Tahoe woods is not affiliated with this beach so we don’t have beach passes to give out nor do we control how much they charge. There are plenty of free beaches on the South Shore.brbr- TOP LEVEL: This home is on the top level. Benefit is not having anyone above you stomping around but the downside is you have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit. If you want to go to the beach, it`s only a few blocks away and a golf cart shuttle is available during summer months. This is a true ski in, ski out location as the Gondola to take you up to the Heavenly Mountain Resort is only a two minute, short walk from the front doors. If you want to catch a concert the entrance is a couple blocks north or you can even enjoy the music from the patio balcony. In the winter there`s a snow sledding park just down the street and ice skating at the Heavenly Village. Just below the condo is indoor mini golf and the casinos are just a couple blocks north. If you`re looking to golf, Edgewood is a short few minute drive away. The Target Supermarket is just a block south across the street and there`s an Ace Hardware for all of your sporting and activity needs in the same center or if you`re the renting type there are rental places for everything from bikes and scooters to skis and snowboards to kayak, paddle boards, pwc`s, and boats, all just steps from this centrally located residence at Zalanta. There may not be another place with so much to do anywhere in the world and this condo sits right in the middle of it all.brbrThere is a free private parking lot for guests until May 2026. After that there will be construction in the parking lot and $20 valet service is available, but limited to 1 vehicle during busy times. Also, there is a golf cart shuttle to and from the beach, as well as, guest shuttle service that an be used when on a first come first served basis at the resort. Much of the activities, restaurants, and entertainment is within a short walk. There`s even scooters all around town that can be used for a fee. You`ll probably never need a car!brbrCLEANING: All cleaning is in compliance with the 5 step enhanced cleaning process. The condo will be freshly cleaned and stocked for check-in. Extra cleanings during your stay are available upon request for a $299 fee, but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.brbrSUPPLIES: The condo will be stocked with an initial supply, but please note that while there is a generous quantity of most items, if you use it up, the only way to replenish the supply would be to have order an extra cleaning(s) for an additional fee which would be $299. This would include fresh towels, linens, soaps topped off, toilet paper, paper towels, tissue and everything else just like a new arrival.
