Drivers should have experience with snowy conditions. Tahoe roads are icy and power outages are common. It is located right off Pioneer Trail (we do get street noise on one side of house) so it's easy to head to Heavenly or Sierra-at-Tahoe. The house was remodeled in 2018 and has over 3800 sq ft of living space with 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. We are 2 miles from Heavenly, 3 miles from the lake and 4 miles to the casinos. Located nearby are hiking trails and access to Trout Creek.brbrOur home is a spacious 7BR/4.5BA located right off Pioneer Trail. The main living area has 55 HD TV. YouTubeTV is provided. The first floor has been furnished with all bamboo flooring. The kitchen is equipped with a good sized island and stainless steel appliances. We have a 36 cooktop with chimney hood. brbrThe small deck has a 8 person hot tub with 88 Jets and a waterfall. There is also a propane grill available on the deck. When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them. brbrFRAUDULANT CLAIMS. We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate. brbrCANCELLATIONS. We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar. Like all vacation rental homes in Tahoe, we have security cameras on the exterior and noise decibel monitoring devices inside. This is to ensure our guests abide by the strict local ordinance. There are never any cameras inside our home.brbrREFUNDS. Reporting issues to us after you leave does not often result in a refund. We prefer to handle issues while you are here in order to make your stay with us exceptional so please report all issues to us during your stay. We are much more likely to offer a refund on our own terms for failure to resolve issues rather than be asked for money back after you’ve checked out. brbrSNOW REMOVAL. Summit Tahoe cannot guarantee snow removal services to the roads and driveway will be completed by the county and/or snow removal vendors. Delays during heavy snowfall are to be expected. Snow shovels are provided onsite. Guests are required to carry chains with them to Tahoe per local law. brbrICY WALKWAYS. Our walkways in Tahoe are icy so make sure all members of your party have snow boots and walk with care. We do our best to clear snow and add ice melt but despite best efforts our walkways still become icy. We are not liable for any falls or slips on the ice.brbrPETS. This home is NOT pet friendly. The owners may have a pet allergy so it’s important to respect this rule. We prefer to host service animals at one of our pet friendly homes. We have California black bears in Tahoe which are attracted to trash and food but will break into your cars for gum, crumbs, empty drinks, etc so make sure to always remove anything even remotely edible, roll up windows and lock car doors.
