If you are looking for a beach getaway, this is the perfect property for you!brbrMission Bay Park, Belmont Park, San Diego's historic oceanfront amusement park and let's not forget to mention the beach, are all right across the street. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, beach equipment rentals and markets, are within walking distance. You can rent or bring a bicycle and take a cruise along the boardwalk to find your perfect spot on the beach. There are several bike paths in the area, including one to Ocean Beach! brbrThe Dover Beach Bungalow is cozy, clean beach house that was built in 1942. The bungalow is 720 square feet and with only 4 people staying there, allows plenty of space for everyone to relax. This property provides a comfortable place to relax after your daily adventures. Lounge on the couch and see what is available on cable TV, or maybe start a new series on Netflix instead. During commercials, you can update your Facebook on your cell phone or laptop using the secured Wi-Fi that is provided. If the weather is just too good to be inside, enjoy dinner and friends outside. There is a large table with seating for 6 on the front patio along with a gas BBQ available for you to use if you wish. After you load up and start the dishwasher, check your clothes to make sure you didn't spill any BBQ sauce on them. If you find some BBQ sauce on your clothes, it is okay, just throw them into the washer and dryer located in the garage.  When heading out to the beach or the bay, don't forget to grab the boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels provided for you to enjoy. brbrDover Beach Cottage is Dog Friendly! It's located in the prime, centrally located town of Ocean Beach, San Diego. brbrThe property is well managed and maintained by the owners who occupy the adjacent duplex unit (we share a wall as well as backyard fence), so you can rest assured you are the sole guest allowing for rest, relaxation, and fun. brbrOur rental unit is ideal for those vacationers and families seeking a place to retreat for relaxation after a day at the beach. We encourage all potential guests to consider what it is they want out of their precious vacation time and make sure that this quieter, non-partying location is a good fit.brbrWe allow up to 2 medium sized dogs with an additional $75 pet fee, but please keep in mind that even the best behaved dogs can act differently in a new environment. They will miss you when you are gone and may bark and howl more than they do at your home. If you intend to spend most of the trip without your dog, please consider if it is a good idea to bring your dog as they cannot be left alone for more than 2 hours. Dogs also cannot be left outside unattended at any time. We live here and have dogs ourselves. We expect that barking is curtailed quickly as we will do the same with ours. Sorry but no RV's or tandem parking. If you chose, the property is an easy cab/ride-share from the airport, so if you're looking to stay local, a rental car may not be needed. With cabs, bikes, and the trolley, a reasonably energetic person will fare very well! brbrWe have boogie boards and surf boards, some fishing gear, beach chairs, and an umbrella for your use. There is a shared (with us) washer and dryer for your use on the property. You will have a Weber gas grill with plenty of propane for your use.brbrIf you decide to book with us, we will email you a welcome letter with the necessary information you will need to get to the home shortly after booking. Your personalized contract/pet terms (if applicable) will be attached. We ask that they are returned to us within 72 hours of receipt.
