The Beach, Bay and Belmont Park right at your feet-Mission Beach

Fantastic overall!

It was a lovely stay. The house is older, but everything was in working condition. Location is excellent and the garage and parking spot are a big plus. Check in was easy. All the information came right on time.I would stay there again.

The location was very good. Communication with the host was excellent. The house was cozy and clean, but could use several updates. The sofa needs to be replaced. It’s such a cute home in a desirable area with just a little bit of investment. It could become a five star rating for sure. The lack of air conditioning was only a minor problem, but the fans provided also need to be replaced as they are very old.

So grateful to call this beach cottage home for a week. The parking was amazing! I’d brought my beach cruiser on vacation, and the garage was a bonus. The couch needs replaced, but is usable and who goes on vacation to sit on a couch?? My husband! The location was perfect. I can’t wait to visit again.

The cottage was nice but it was extremely hot with one box fan and 1 standup. Would recommend sometime of AC for next years visitors. We sat outside for a few minutes. If I would have had a broom and somewhere to clean the yard. It is too bad that hasn't been done for a long long time. It is between extremely nice cottages where their yards are extremely nice.

No Air conditioning so it was very hot to sleep well

House is in a great location between the lagoon and ocean. Had all of the beach toys you need and a wagon to haul them. House needs lots of updates. Bed is very creaky, screens are ripped or missing and the furniture is different than what’s in the pictures.

You can tell property is used and abused. could have been a little cleaner. Was ok for the price, nice to have the yard and parking.

Property is old and could use some maintenance. Most of the windows are missing screens and the couch is very uncomfortable. The kitchen is small but nice. We loved the big garage and additional parking space. Only steps from the Bayside beach! We enjoyed staying here very much!

Great location and perfect accommodations

Loved loved the location. A nice little walk to the beach or bay. Quiet area but so close to the hustle and bustle of mission beach activities.

Adorable property, easy to get to with cute restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Loved having 2 parking spots. Neighborhood was quiet with a lot of other rentals. Minor annoyance was that we were in the flight plan from 6am to 10pm.

Having grown up in San Diego and remembering how Mission Beach was once known for charming beach houses like this one, I enjoyed my stay very much. Life can't get any better with the ocean and sunsets on one side and a peaceful bay on the other side. This house has a front patio and a private back patio. A private parking space and a garage that includes beach toys, chairs, and a washer & dryer. Inside is spacious but cozy, clean, and comfortable. Walking distance to iconic San Diego beach bars, Belmont Park, restaurants, and markets. Megan was personable, very responsive and helpful. I would love to stay again!

Although the exterior photos show a little more curb appeal than the actual property, the inside was very nice and clean. The property looks all original inside, aside from paint and cleaning updates over the years which adds to the appeal of the property. Being in there is like stepping back into a simpler time and perfectly fits the vibe of the Southern California beach community. If you want nice and new, this property probably isn't for you, but if you want clean, comfy, and convenient and wish there were still more of the original bungalows left in this neighborhood, then this is the place for you. Parking is fantastic, with a driveway spot and a garage that would fit a small car. The garage is extra convenient for storing bikes, surfboards, etc. This property is ideal for 2-4 adults or two adults with 1-2 kids.
