If traveling to Trestles it’s a bit of a hike down to the sand, but manageable even for little ones. If long-boarding is your style then a visit to San Onofre State Beach is a must. With its slow and mellow style, volleyball courts, a few palapas and fire pits, San O is a great spot for a beach day camp.brbrOur quaint and historic downtown is within walking distance but you'll want to bring a pair of sneakers as there are a few hills to scale if you choose to walk. Our local favorite upscale restaurants, sushi bars, farmer’s market (on Sundays), as well as inexpensive but delicious taco huts are minutes away located on Avenida Del Mar and El Camino Real. Our newly remodeled kitchen with all the essentials is also the perfect place for home-cooked family meals.
