This not-so-tiny home has plenty of space for everything you bring. While the layout can accommodate up to 4 people two guests are perfect; a third can sleep on the fold-out couch in the loft, and a fourth guest can sleep in the loft net if needed.brbrbrbrSpeaking of loft nets: hands down, my favorite part of designing this space was realizing we could utilize part of the second floor as a fun, funky hangout space: yep, you can lay in it! The loft features a projector, sofabed, in-wall dresser, skylight, the loft net, and an absurd amount of pillows. I have a feeling this will be the most popular hangout spot in the house. brbrbrbrThe private bedroom has a sliding pocket door for additional privacy and is furnished with a hybrid queen memory foam and spring mattress, dual nightstands with lamps (each featuring USB and electrical ports), plenty of drawers and closet space, a new Smart T.V., and... well… a shower that will certainly bring some heat to the bedroom. End your day under the waterfall shower beneath a massive skylight in this beautiful modern open bathroom. brbrbrbrDon't be fooled by the minimalist kitchen design; you'll have everything you need to pretend you're cooking yourself dinner from scratch (even when you're actually walking around the corner to eat at the famous Pink's Hotdogs). The custom-built kitchen features a new refrigerator, microwave/oven combo, cooktop, and two coffee stations (yes two… a Nespresso maker and also a french press, because we love coffee). There are also pots, pans, silverware, plates, cleaning supplies, and most importantly…a dishwasher! Its hiding behind two drawers that aren’t really drawers. brbrbrbrIn terms of amenities, we've got you covered. You'll have access to minor yet essential things like an iron, blow dryer, towels, soap, and a shared washer and dryer (located in the mini-laundry room just off the main house in the backyard). The projection screen in the loft and the flat-screen T.V. in the bedroom are both 'smart' and will connect you to your streaming services (just make sure to log out when you leave).brbrbrbrAnd lastly, we are geeks when it comes to 'smart home' stuff. Surrounding the Wilshire Country Club, the area includes Windsor Square and Larchmont Village, which features a quaint shopping and dining strip. Synagogues on La Brea Avenue serve the Orthodox Jewish communitybrbrbrbrBut you’re also so close to Hollywood, West Hollywood, and Fairfax district. Waterworks unlacquered brass fittings throughout, custom zellige and marble finishes. brbrThere is a large gated driveway and front lawn edged by roses, lavender and fruit trees, a trampoline and swing set for kids (and energetic grownups!) set back from the street and separated by a fence and electric gates. The back garden has a lawn, covered patio and deck with large bbq, sofas and covered outdoor living room with large TV for enjoying the LA weather. We also have a small 8x17’ pool, only 3.5’ deep so perfect for swimming with kids or cooling off. (Pool heating carries an additional fee.) The pool deck is fenced and lockable (and doors to the yard can also be locked), but it is not completely impenetrable (!), so please be aware of this as owners cannot accept liability. There are also (gated) steps up to some higher terraces with orange, lemon, lime, fig, pear and pomegranate trees, the large upper deck and an upper terrace with stunning sunsets and views across the mountains and Hollywood Hills. brbrAll of this is particularly magical given the house is just moments from famous Ventura Boulevard, with coffee shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and high-end boutiques and salons all just a short walk away. The street is also a cul de sac filled with other stunning houses, a really friendly residential area where locals say hi as they walk their dogs - at the top of the street is a private hiking trail to access Fryman Canyon, a wonderful morning hike! brbrA short drive will take you straight to Beverly Hills, the beach, studios and freeways - it really is the perfect location for LA.
