Gated Family Home in NOHO

It was a very nice stay close to many activities.

Good location. Liked that the vehicle could be secured inside a gate. I would recommend black out curtains in the room and it wasnt the cleanest place. I liked that the tvs could be used with our personal app sign ons and it automatically deleted the sign on information. House has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The space was ideal for 5 adults staying there. Loved that it had laundry options (and they included the washing detergent too!). The kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, plates, and proper pots and pans for cooking too! I liked that the location allowed us to travel into LA or Hollywood with 20-30 mins only either direction.

The house was comfortable, clean and in a fabulous location. Jihn was prompt, courteous and helpful. Very enjoyable stat. Highly recommended!!

The place was perfect! Clean, well supplied and the host was totally accessible for any questions. Home was secure, lovely outside area for sitting, eating. If you have children, it is minimally “decorated” so you do not find yourself having to be hyper vigilant! The one thing that could be broken our 18 mo old grandson took care of early on!! The owner was kind about it! Highly recommend if you need to be in this area!

Parking easy and secure. Comfortable beds and plenty of tvs for entertainment. Property had nice side yard. Plenty of cookware and cooking basics. Perfect location, close to Universal Studios.

This was a fantastic place to stay! Our family really enjoyed being able to stay together in this perfect spot, close to all of the activities we wanted to do in the Los Angeles area! It was super clean and spacious! The descriptions and pictures gave a very accurate preview of the accommodations!

We had an amazing stay at John's place. Everything was exactly as described and the place was amazingly clean! (I'm a crazy germaphobe and tend to reclean everything when I stay at any place, but I didn't have to reclean any of the bathrooms, toilets, showers, kitchen or floors!) There were a few games our kids happily played with and a well stocked kitchen with ample cutlery and dishes, plus the basic oil, salt, pepper, flour, sugar, pots and pans. The A/C was quick and efficient. Shower never ran out of hot water. Being able to do laundry was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay at John's again and highly recommend it! We didn't take photos but it was exactly per the pictures on the listing!

Very clean and has everything a rental home should have - a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, extra pillows and blankets, etc. John was super responsive and communicative!

Quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet. The property itself has everything we could possibly need or want. It was clean. We felt safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay there anytime we needed to return to the area.

Check in was a breeze. Clean and as described. AC was great in the abnormally hot days we were there. Great location for Universal Studios and way more affordable than the hotels. Quiet. Kitchen was the best stocked we’ve ever had at any VRBO. John the host was a great communicator.

We were able to give ourselves more time to enjoy Hollywood area attractions by staying at this cozy, quiet home very near our destinations of Universal Studios and the Burbank airport. The place was very clean, modern and comfortable - the host had great communication and clear instructions.

I booked this house for my middle-aged son, who was accompanied and assisted by a friend/caregiver because he was having surgery at a nearby hospital. All my communications with John, the property manager, were prompt and helpful. I did not see the house, but my son was impressed by its beauty and cleanliness. However, they had one complaint. They did not notice the small second half-bathroom until the morning of their departure. The door was so inconspicuous they had assumed it was a closet. They would have greatly appreciated using it.

We appreciated that this house had parking and a locked gate. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. My daughter used the hide-a-bed in the living room. It was quick and easy to pull out each night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The kids played some of the board games provided which was nice. There were only a few minor things that we did not like. The house had an ant problem and when we left out food one day while we were at Universal the ants were all over the kitchen when we got back. There was a dirty towel hanging in the second bathroom. It was hard to tell if it was stained or never cleaned so we just left it. The bedroom in the back of the house was where my sons slept and they complained about being able to hear a person on the other side of the wall. We think it was probably the host, but whoever it was kept my boys up at night. They said they would hear the person watching TV, talking, opening and closing drawers. It was kind of eerie having someone that close. I have typically stayed at houses where there were no other people. This one seemed to also have other buildings in the back and one morning there was a person walking up and down the driveway next to the front house where we were staying. Overall, it served our needs and was close to the places we wanted to visit.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was nice and the neighborhood was quiet. Check in process was nice and easy. 10 min drive from Universal Studios. My only complaint is there is an ant problem. We were killing them left and right in the kitchen. I would do away with the ant traps and get an exterminator. Other than that you can’t go wrong with this home.

The property is very clean, comfortable, and well laid out. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, though we felt the lack of a dishwasher while we were on vacation. If you are picky about your coffee and have a portable coffee grinder, bring it. The ground coffee options in the stores near by are grim. We enjoyed reading, having breakfast outdoors on the patio, and watching videos. The Roku is set up so visitors' preferences and apps will expire on check-out. Very handy. The house is located near Burbank Airport, the NOHO arts district, and Griffith Park and has easy access to many LA-area main roads. The immediate neighborhood around the house is a bit rough, but the property is very secure and has a Target and CVS a couple of minutes away.

Clean, comfortable home, just as pictured. Bonus points for the extra pillows on the beds! Nice upgrades throughout the house. Quiet neighborhood. Suited our needs for our trip to Cali.
