Thank you!brbrWhen our Healdsburg home burned completely in the 2019 Kincade fire, we were presented with the opportunity to start from scratch and create exactly what we wanted. While our new house is more modern than the last, we carried forward - and intentionally amplified - the characteristics we most loved: the expansive 360” views, the breezy and bright open floor plan, the ample opportunities for gathering indoors and out. The entire east facing side of the main house is floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which makes for a striking vista of the hills and vineyards beyond. We have included a photo of the original home so that you can see the transformation (note that reviews before prior to Sept 2019 reflect the old house).brbrPerched atop a hill, our home feels wonderfully secluded, yet restaurants, shopping, wineries and a myriad of outdoor adventures are just a short drive away and Windsor and Healdsburg are within 15 and 20 minutes, respectively. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel at home and will never want to leave. Note that VRBO places us in Windsor but we are in fact located in the Chalk Hill Area of Healdsburg.brbrThe property is ~7 acres and is comprised of a:br- two wing main house with 4 bedrooms that sleep 8. We also have child-friendly plates and utensils, two pack-n-plays (in addition to the crib), a high chair, infant tub, and more. If you need items for your kiddos, please coordinate with us - with either have it or can get it very easily to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We have three kids ourselves and know what it's like to travel with them: what you need, what you want, and what you wish you had!brbrWhile we don't find ourselves in front of the TV often up here, we do have a TCL Roku TV with several apps, including HBO, Amazon Prime, and Netflix to stream your favorite shows. You can also mirror your laptop with Chromecast (directions provided). We aren't gamers, so we can't help you there. Please be aware that this also means you might encounter wild animals on the property, from quail and owls to the occasional deer or coyote.
