The cabin features modern upgrades, open floor plan for the common spaces, large windows, and vaulted beam ceilings to bring nature indoors. Sit back and enjoy the mountain scenery and chirping birds on the large deck or throw a log in the stone fireplace. We welcome dogs, see pet policy below.brbrUpon arrival you are welcomed into the cabin by an open floor plan for the common living areas (living room, kitchen and dinning room). As you proceed into the hall you will find a bathroom and the doors to the the two bedrooms. The master bedroom is spacious with a comfy King bed and its own bathroom and a door that leads to the backyard. The second bedroom has a bunk bed and Queen sized bed. brbrThe living area has plenty of comfortable seating with a flatscreen Smart TV that will allow you to access to Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. brbrThere is a kitchen with a country oak table for 6. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, toaster, coffee maker, and a 4 burner gas stove top and oven etc. brbrBearadise Cabin has a completely fenced in rear and side yard that offers on-property snow play for the youngsters in the winter or an area to play. This area also serves our Guest Pets the opportunity to run around and stretch their legs.brbrYou will have access to the entire house with the exception of a the back studio and locked cabinets/storage areas.brbrFollow us on IG @bearadise_cabinbrbrThe neighborhood is in an area that isn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle of town. It allows you to actually escape the city in a small wooded neighborhood. You are walking distance to local trails that can lead you to the Moonridge area. For bike enthusiast, just get on the bike and ride to the nearest trail to mountain bike. brbrThere is a mini mart and small restaurant/bar a block away.brThere is also a park that is about a 15 min walk from the cabin.brbrMountain Metro bus picks up and drops off one block away, in front of the Post Office.brbr** PETS**brPets are permitted only with prior approval of the property OWNER and payment of pet fee. Maximum of 2 dog. In bringing a pet TENANT agrees to follow the included pet rules. No pet on bed, must be potty trained, must have up to date flea and tick treatment and vaccinations. It's TENANTS responsibility to pick up all dog poop prior to check out. Pet must be attended to at all times or kenneled and no pets left in the cabin (unless kenneled) or left in the yard unattended too. Please keep in mind that the backyard is currently fenced. If you have an escape artist, keep them on a leash. We are surrounded by nature and wildlife that can easily scale fences and trees. Property OWNERS assume no responsibility for your pet. TENANTS are to take reasonable action to not allow Pet from creating a nuisance, annoyance and disturbance to the neighbors. TENANTS are solely responsible for your pet on or off the property. TENANTS will comply with all applicable statues, local ordinances, rules and regulations. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly. br br(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.br br(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation. brbr(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave. br br(5) All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.br br(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open. br br(7) Pet- All pets must be disclosed and pet fees paid in full prior to your arrival. Please be sure to clean up after your pets, please do not allow them on the furniture or bedding, and for their safety do not leave them outside unattended. Any pet waste left inside or outside of the home or damages to the home are subject to additional cleaning or repair fees. brbr(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.br br(9) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines. br br(10) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home. br br(11) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.brbr(12) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.brbr(13) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.brbr brPlease keep in mind you must be 21 years old to book.

The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation. brbr(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave. br br(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.br br(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open. br br(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged. brbr(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.brbr(13) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are various nostalgic Big Bear pictures to showcase some of Big Bears interesting history. If you stay during the summer make sure to visit the Big Bear Museum, it is volunteer run and an absolutely amazing place. Volunteer blacksmiths educate and sometimes put on a great show and often kids come away with a keepsake that they made. The Big Bear Discovery center is another great place for the family to visit and offers free fun family activities. brbrThis cabin has been a home from home for us for the past 15 years and only became a rental at the beginning of 2023. Both our teenage girls participated with the Snow Summit Race Team with our oldest heading off to college we decided to open our cabin up to other likeminded families. We truly feel we have an amazing space and know you will have a lovely experience at our beautiful Bonnie Brae Cabin. Please note the cabin was built mid century so the stairs to the loft can feel steep as do the stairs to the game room. We do not recommend renting our space if you have very young children (under 3) or physically challenged. brbrThe honest expectation and sadly the rules!!brbrDue to the configuration of the seeping arrangements we can only accept bookings for families with children under 18 or individual couples. brbrThe area of Moonridge in Big Bear is highly desirable as it offers the true mountain feel. This means steep hills to drive up/down. During the winter you must be prepared with chains and/or 4 wheel drive as the roads get very icy. Please make sure you feel comfortable installing chains before your visit and do take all road warnings seriously. We make sure the driveway is plowed before a guest visit but please note the outside stairs and driveway will be icy so use extreme caution. We will provide you with a map with the best access route to our cabin after reservation.brbrPets: We love animals however at this time we are not accepting guests with pets. Violating the No Pet Policy will result in eviction and loss of deposit. brbrNo smoking of any kind indoors. Please be firesafe and use an ashtray outside. brbrBig Bear Lake is very strict regarding noise and one complaint from a neighbor will result in code enforcement knocking on the door within 30 minutes and passing on a hefty fine. Please enjoy yourselves but keep in mind that voices carry throughout the Moonridge valley. Stargazing is amazing on a clear night and highly recommended (especially from the hot tub) but there is a no noise restriction after 10pm so outside whisper voices only after this time. brbrParking: We have space for two cars head to tail. Do not park on the street as you will receive a ticket. It is best to back into the driveway in snowy conditions so you do not get stuck!brbrTrash: Do not leave the doors open at night or leave trash outside, raccoons, squirrels, bears and coyotes will find it! There are two garbage bins under the stairs by the kitchen, one for recycle and one for landfill. As with all visitors to Big Bear the trash must me disposed off at the “Clean Bear Site #1” aka trash transfer station on your way out of town. Its centrally located a short distance from Vons and CVS but as you can imagine does get very busy.
