They were rescued on July 18, 2020 by Animal Asia. We have pledged to support them for the duration of their lives. There are only 25,000 of these moon bears left, and Animal Asia is dedicated to rescue and rehabilitate as many of these moon bears as they can. To support their effort, we have pledged to donate a portion of our annual earnings from Moon Bears Retreat to Animal Asia. You may also drive down to Vons, Stater Bros, Walgreens, Maggio`s Pizza and other convenience & groceries stores within 5-min driving distance. brbrDuring Winter months, Bear Mountain Ski Resort offers free shuttle service, every 30 mins, to/from Snow Summit. The nearest shuttle stop is 1-min walking distance at the corner of Moonridge Rd and Plymouth Rd. (Stop ID: 216). You will also find the parking to be easily accessible, especially during the winter months.brbrWe are 5 mins of driving distance from intersection of Big Bear Blvd. and Moonridge Rd. It is eminently walkable during summer, spring and fall, but I prefer to drive during winters, as it snows heavily during winter months.
