The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation. brbr(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave. br br(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.br br(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open. br br(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged. brbr(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.br br(9) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines. br br(10) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. We implement CDC cleaning guidelines including disinfecting all touch points as well as switching out comforters for each stay. Our Cleaners will be wearing masks while cleaning and we will also be spacing out our renters at least 72 hours apart. Once our cleaners clean and disinfect, we try to give the cabin at least 48 hours of no one being in the cabin at all so it can detox before your check in. brbrThe following is recommended from the CDC that we are following that could affect your stay so PLEASE READ BEFORE booking: brbr- According to SB County Covid-19 Law: Only members of immediate family/ those living in the same house normally will be allowed to rent/ stay in the same rental. brbr- To keep things as safe per instructions of the CDC we have removed extra blankets, throw pillows and decorative pillows from the cabin. brbr- We recommend cleaning all dishes, utensils, glass wear, cups etc before using. We cannot guarantee that the cleaners have cleaned every single one before your arrival. brbr- To keep the town of Big Bear Lake Healthy- you are required to wear a mask while off the property outside anywhere in Big Bear Lake where you might come within 6 feet of someone who is not staying in your cabin. Please respect this rule as we want to keep Big Bear and all our visitors healthy. brbr- We ask that you please bring your own groceries. Big Bear is a small town and they have asked that only locals shop at the grocery stores otherwise they will have supply chain issues. The restaurants are open for safe pick up and delivery. brbr- Since we are cleaning the home and then for your safety leaving it unoccupied after cleaning, we will not be doing our usual day of inspection. This could mean extra dust, cobwebs, ants, leaves on decks, light bulbs that blew out that day or other minor issues can arise.. We apologize for that but again our main goal is to keep you safe. brbrDue to extreme shortages we will not be able to leave any extra cleaning supplies for your use other than dish sponge and dish soap. Everything you will need is within close proximity once you land at this beautiful vacation rental. In the summer you can swim, boat, fish and sight-see from your own backyard. In the winter you can go skiing, snowboarding, sledding/tubing and enjoy the beautiful snow. This is lakefront at a fraction of the cost of renting lakefront.brbrThis beautiful lakefront chalet is one of three units on our property. There are two buildings on the lot. The 1st building facing the street has garages and a unit above. The rear building has two units. Our unit is the top floor of the rear building, which has no shared walls and a huge deck with unobstructed lake views.brbrThe two-story chalet feels much more like a private home. It has cathedral ceilings and tudor details. The lot is over 9000 square feet sitting 'on' the lake. There is plenty of room for activities while waiting for your next boat ride/water ski, your next big catch, snow play or simply watching the boats come and go from the nearby, adjacent marina.brbrBedding Configuration: The master BR has a queen-size platform bed featuring a down comforter with duvet plus down pillows with high thread count linens. The master features its own large closet with remote color 20-inch TV with Charter TV and DVD player. It also has end tables with lamps, alarm clock and antique armoire for storage of all additional linens, towels and blankets.brbrThe second bedroom has a queen-size bed with down comforter and duvet plus down pillows 'and' a matching bunk bed separated by an end table with lamp and alarm clock. A modest stackable washer/dryer is in the closet for easy storage and access.brbrThe third and fourth sleeping areas are dual lofts separated by one shared bathroom on the second floor. Each loft is open, with no walls, and has two single beds on each side sleeping four total in the loft area. There is a closet in the bathroom and a hanging rack in the hallway. The ceiling in this area is a bit lower so best for the kids in the family to enjoy or average height adults.brbrLiving Room: 40-inch Flat Screen TV with Charter, wireless internet (airport and ethernet), mac computer and DVD player.
