It’s attached bathroom has a claw foot tub, but we will be adding a shower very shortly. br The main bathroom is a full bathroom with both a shower and a tub. br Entrance and Parkingbr- You will initially enter through the front door, and will access the home by our keyless entry system which will be programmed with a code specifically for you.brYou are welcomed to continue to park on the street as it’s public parking and use the front as your main entrance. If you want more secluded parking, you have a designated parking space located behind the home. There is also a keypad lock on the back door if you wish for that to be your primary parking and entrance during your stay.brbrYou will have the entire home to yourself.brThe only thing that will be off limits to you is the owners closet, which is located in the front bedroom, and the second story of the home, which is completely separate and unoccupied.brbrWe give you 100% privacy, but we live locally and are available when needed.brbrThis home is located on a beautiful and well kept historic street lined with historic Victorian homes. brThe neighborhood is extremely safe, and the sidewalks make for an easy and fun walk with family or pets. brbrbrThe home across the street is a small private school. No noise comes from this school, but the school does bring in a few extra cars during pick-up and drop-off times. After visiting Prescott many times and staying at various properties, we noticed that they are almost always set up for the owner's benefit and not the guest's. Anyone can go to a garage sale and buy grandma's old lumpy mattress and furniture from 1964 to be in the Vacation rental space. brbrWe set out to change the Prescott vacation rental experience! We spent thousands alone on the master mattress. We offer a fully secure, padlocked backyard with not only a dog run but a dog door to the house. None of the furnishings are secondhand, garage sale, or Craig list specials. We are constantly improving and adding amenities to our property. Our reviews speak for themselves!brbrThe house is located a quick jaunt away from Prescott's beautiful Courthouse square and Whiskey Row. The yard is complete with a fire pit, A Kamado Joe Classic 3 grill/smoker, a child playhouse, and a Swingset. The backyard is lined with decorative lights to enjoy the cool evenings all year round. The house comes with a laundry room and office space that includes a printer. In the game room, you'll find a cast-iron wood-burning stove for the winter evenings. The property really is a quiet private place with all the amenities you might want or need.brbrWILD ANIMALS ARE VERY COMMON. Make sure to quietly leave the house for your best chance at catching Deer and Javelina which are regulars on our street. We are within quick walking distance of a Mexican restaurant, and sandwich shop. There is an upper level parking lot accessed via the private road immediately to the south of the building, and a smaller lower level parking lot on the same level as the building. Street parking is also available. brbrThe location is amazing - just 2 short blocks from the square! However, like any other hotels or stays that are near a city center there may be some noise (mostly passing traffic) to deal with. The south side and lower floor rooms (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 2B) are quieter. And the ones closest to Gurley St (4, 7, 1B) are slightly noisier. Some guests notice it, others don’t, but we thought it deserved at least a mention to consider when booking. brbrAll rooms have at least 1 portable A/C unit for those summer months when it can get a little warm. The larger units have 2 in them. There are fans in each room as well. For the winter months there is a boiler system that generates heat for the house and all rooms. brbrAll TV’s are subscribed to Hulu Live TV which includes 75+ channels and all Hulu content. Other streaming apps are installed but depending on the service you may need to login to them using your own account info to access content. Please log out of them before leaving to prevent the use of your account by others. brbrAll guests have access to the common areas of the home as well as the outside common areas. While you are free to explore the inside of the Mansion please be considerate of other guests that may be staying and do your best not to disturb them, including keeping noise down to a reasonable level. brbrThere is a shared laundry room on the south side of the building. One is through the front door of the home which can be accessed from the front porch on the north side of the house that faces Gurley St. The other is located through the Mansion’s side door on the West side of the building, which you can see from S Alarcon St. The side door is closer to the parking, but the main entrance is a bit more “grand” – feel free to use either.brbrUnit 1’s entrance is best accessed through the Mansion’s side door on the West side of the building. Enter the building through there and the door to “The Lily Suite” will be right in front of you. There’s an immediate drop off when you first enter the room so please watch your first step. brbrbrOther things to note:brbrPlease respect and take care of the home during your stay. Much of it is original and cannot be replaced. brbrAs much of it is original please expect some creaking floors and other noises and sights that come with a home that’s well over 100 years old. We think it adds to the appeal! But not everyone may think the same way so, just a heads up .brbrParking is first come first serve and is limited to 1 vehicle per unit. There is an upper level parking lot accessed via the private road immediately to the south of the building, and a smaller lower level parking lot on the same level as the building. Street parking is also available. brbrThe location is amazing - just 2 short blocks from the square! However, like any other hotels or stays that are near a city center there may be some noise (mostly passing traffic) to deal with. The south side and lower floor rooms (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 2B) are quieter. And the ones closest to Gurley St (4, 7, 1B) are slightly noisier. Some guests notice it, others don’t, but we thought it deserved at least a mention to consider when booking. brbrAll rooms have at least 1 portable A/C unit for those summer months when it can get a little warm. The larger units have 2 in them. There are fans in each room as well. For the winter months there is a boiler system that generates heat for the house and all rooms. brbrAll TV’s are subscribed to Hulu Live TV which includes 75+ channels and all Hulu content. Other streaming apps are installed but depending on the service you may need to login to them using your own account info to access content. Please log out of them before leaving to prevent the use of your account by others. brbrAll guests have access to the common areas of the home as well as the outside common areas. While you are free to explore the inside of the Mansion please be considerate of other guests that may be staying and do your best not to disturb them, including keeping noise down to a reasonable level. brbrThere is a shared laundry room on the south side of the building.
