Our rustic log cabin was built in 1960. It is nestled in a small neighborhood above the village of Greer Arizona. It`s a really fun cabin in any season. We have completely remodeled to mix modern day fixtures and appliances with mid-century rustic charm to create a cozy and welcoming family friendly space. There is a stone hearth, wood burning fireplace at the centerpiece of the living room, new windows with screens and lots of outdoor space to hang out and enjoy nature.brbrPiney Hollow is set on a small parcel all by itself. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the small porch off the laundry room and there is an additional spot behind the cabin on the top side of the driveway. It has a shared driveway so parking is ONLY on the gravel areas but there is a horseshoe driveway for a trailer pull through. We have wifi and 2 TVs with streaming channels. Scroll through the pictures & descriptions for more details.brbrYou will receive a 4 digit guest entry code five days prior to your arrival in an email.brbrWe are available 9AM through 6PM daily for our confirmed guests.brbrOur cabin is located in Greer Heights. It`s an older section of Greer with lots of rustic family cabins. High in the pine trees off of Northwoods Road (on the way to Big Lake and Sheep`s Crossing) we are off the beaten path and have lots of privacy. Piney Hollow is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs with an additional fee, no exceptions. We have 1 baby gate for the porch.brbrGreer is a great place to visit in all seasons. Nestled in the Riverbend Cabins is this cozy cabin named Riverden. It is a 900+ square foot cabin perched on the hillside of the Little Colorado River. You can see and hear the river from the porch while relaxing on the log swing and Adirondack chairs or take a 30 second walk down to the banks. We even have deer visiting many evenings! Riverden is just off Main Street in the hamlet of Greer AZ. We do allow dogs in this cabin but no more than 2. Each dog is $20 per night for your stay. Dogs may be left in the cabin when you are not ONLY if they are crated. We STRONGLY suggest taking your fuzzy buddies with you on all adventures. Show up with your food, basic necessities and a sense of adventure. The beds are fresh. The lights and heat are on. The towels are set.brbrThe Space:brRiverden is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Cabin with a very efficient kitchen. We have a gas range and oven, carousel microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal and fridge. The combined living room and kitchen area has windows looking out to the porch and onto East side mountains and sweet sunrises. There is a round dining room table (with hidden leaf extension) for 4 to 6 people. Glassware, plates and silverware, cookware and utensils are all in the cabin. A small gas stove adds ambiance to the living room area but we have central heating throughout the cabin. Both bedrooms have Queen beds and streaming TVs. We have Wifi and Dish Network Satellite TV. The gas grill on the porch is easy access and we provide propane for you as our guest. All windows have room darkening curtains and screens.brbrGuest Access:brAs our guest, you can enjoy the lower banks of the Little Colorado River, Riverbend common areas and access (over the small river) to National Forest land.brbrThe Neighborhood:brRiverbend Cabins is a small complex off of Main Street. There are other rental cabins in the complex but you have privacy being on the river's edge. The Greer Village Walkway is a nice pathway that leads you to National Forest hiking trails and shops/dining. It's right across the street. In the cabin you will find a Hit The Trails magazine with 38 local trails and maps for exploring in Greer. Ice, booze, tobacco, souvenirs and supplies are available at our well-stocked local convenience store, Lazy Trout Market, which is open until 5PM daily. In Summer months, Greer has coffee, pizza, restaurants, gift shops and more! During Winter months and year-round, you can choose from Rendezvous Diner, Molly Butler Lodge and Edelweiss German Bistro for most of your family dining needs. Please remember, Greer has no gas stations or laundromats.brbrGetting Around:brBring your bikes, UTVs or good shoes to get anywhere in Greer. There is a small convenience store in Greer but no gas stations. The nearest chain grocery stores and gas stations are in Eagar and Springerville which are 17 minutes away. We do suggest AWD/4WD vehicles in wintertime and be prepared to (and know how to) use tire chains in snowy conditions. The main roads are plowed and so is our parking area but Mother Nature can be unpredictable. Be prepared!brbrOther Things to Note:brRiverbend guests can enjoy the Little Colorado River between the 2 fences at the bottom of the cabins. Please don't cross the bridges to the neighboring private property. The owners of that property are very strict with their NO TRESPASSING policy.

Greer River's Edge Cabin! The beautiful cabin boasts the views and sounds of the Little Colorado River! Large lot with plenty of room to play and roam or just relax and listen to the sound of the river flowing by! The cabin features a master bedroom and master bath on the first floor as well as kitchen, dining room, living room, reading/game area, and laundry room. The 2nd floor features 2 bedrooms, a full bath and a huge loft with a Queen memory foam sleeper sofa, TV area, foosball, and game table. We have wireless internet, and dish TV. Plenty of places to sit on the front porch or the back deck and a BBQ grill for your convenience! A short walk to the river. Great location in Greer at the end of the village we are between Greer Lodge and the Red Setter! One Mile walk or drive to the Famous Molly Butler Lodge Restaurant and Rendezvous Diner! Both have amazing food and friendly service! Come stay awhile and relax! Parking for 2 vehicles in front of the cottage. Additional parking on the side of the property however we can not accommodate RV's or large campers.brbrWe have four exterior security cameras on the property for security. One is located on the cabin front porch in plain view. One is located on the rear cabin porch by the back door that leads to the living room/game area. The third security camera is on the exterior of the attached cottage in the front in plain view. The 4th is in the side yard/backyard exterior of the cottage. Photos of the cameras are in the property photos. We do not have any interior cameras.brbrGreer is a small, beautiful town in the White Mountains. It lies at an elevation of approximately 8,300 feet (2,500 m) and is surrounded by the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Greer Lakes is a fishing and scenic destination one mile north of Greer off FS 87B made up of three lakes: Bunch Reservoir, Tunnel Reservoir, and River Reservoir. There are paths in and around the lakes that would appeal to day hikers, photographers, and mountain bikers. There are many other amazing lakes around the area such as Big Lake, Sunrise Lake and A1 Lake. While Greer is a four hour drive from Phoenix and a four-and-a-half hour drive from Tucson, it remains one of the most popular summer vacation destinations in Arizona, as it is consistently 20-30 degrees cooler than the deserts.brbrWe are located 20 miles (approximately 30 minute drive) from some of the best skiing in Arizona- Sunrise Ski Resort! Sunrise also has ski bikes- check them out if you haven't seen them- and a tubing hill with pulley to get you back to the top! They have plenty of Spring, Summer and Fall events and activities as well- check their site for info!brbrA perfect area to get away for some peace and quiet or to go out and hike and adventure. ATV/OHV trails in the area. Amazing fishing. A photographer and nature watcher's dream!
