There is plenty of space for the family to spread out and enjoy peace and quiet or fun time. In addition to the four bedrooms there is a large open area to accommodate extra sleepers. Both bathrooms are spacious, clean and private. There are parking spaces right outside of the cabin for easy access.brbrThe cabin is just a short walk from the Little Colorado River where you can hike and explore along the banks of the Little Colorado River which runs year-round. If you enjoy fishing, Tunnel, River and Bunch Reservoirs are a 5 minute drive from the cabin. There are plenty of places to access the river that meanders through the Greer Village. We provide a booklet called `Hit the Trails` with 36 popular local hiking areas, trail information and lots of photos.brbrBicycles and E-bikes, side by sides, horses and hiking shoes are great ways to explore Greer and the surrounding areas. Weather may be inclement in the Winter months so please prepare accordingly. We keep the entry road and driveway clear of snow in the Winter but there are times when tire chains, 4x4 or AWD may be necessary.brbrYou will enjoy 360 degree views of nature at the cabin. Greer is full of wonderful natural surprises. You may spot deer, elk, turkey, fox, coyote, owl, bald eagles, osprey, Rocky Mountain sheep, beavers and so many other White Mountain inhabitants. Make sure to keep the binoculars and cameras handy! Always pay attention to Mother Nature. We are happy to offer advice on weather conditions and forecasts prior to your stay. Tall stands of Ponderosa Pines and Aspen trees make for lots of shade and Fall splendor. It`s also a dog-friendly area for well-behaved animals on a leash. Sunrise Ski Park is open in Winter & Summer and is less than 30 minutes away. Enjoy their new zip line area or a day of snow play. Greer is also about 20 minutes from Eagar/Springerville, 45 minutes from Alpine and 60 minutes to Hannagan Meadow or Show Low.

Greer Lakes is a fishing and scenic destination one mile north of Greer off FS 87B made up of three lakes: Bunch Reservoir, Tunnel Reservoir, and River Reservoir. There are paths in and around the lakes that would appeal to day hikers, photographers, and mountain bikers. There are many other amazing lakes around the area such as Big Lake, Sunrise Lake and A1 Lake. While Greer is a four hour drive from Phoenix and a four-and-a-half hour drive from Tucson, it remains one of the most popular summer vacation destinations in Arizona, as it is consistently 20-30 degrees cooler than the deserts.brbrWe are located 20 miles (approximately 30 minute drive) from some of the best skiing in Arizona- Sunrise Ski Resort!
