Walk merely 60 steps to the sandy beach using the maintained beach access trail directly in front of the home!brbrThe amazing view is available at a small price … there are stairs … about 40 into the upper level. They are sturdy and wide. This property would not be appropriate for someone who has difficulty walking up or down stairs. It is not wheelchair accessible. brbrInside you will find a well-stocked kitchen with most everything you need to prepare meals including complimentary spices, coffee and tea, and beverage condiments as well as cleaning supplies. There is a crock pot, electric fry pan and electric griddle. Linens, towels and paper products are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. There are two bedrooms in the upper duplex with queen beds, tvs and DVD players. In the living room, there is a Smart TV connected to cable service with a DVD player. There is a wide variety of DVD movies. We also have a wireless speaker! We have a variety of games, puzzles and books for all ages! There is a full size briquette BBQ on the upper deck. There are also two clamming guns and a bucket stored in the broom closet by the front bedroom. brbrFree WIFI access is included. Please be sure to adjust your phone settings to enable WIFI calling before you leave home. Some carriers require you do this from their network. Cell phone service is sketchy along the coast! The hot tub is shared by guests in both the upper and lower units. Please be respectful and follow the posted rules. brbrThere is also a fire pit with rustic seating on the property. Firewood is available for sale in several locations nearby. You are welcome to use any wood stacked near the fire pit. brbrYour pre-approved dogs are welcome, with a limit of two. Pet fee applies. Dogs must be friendly and under 40 pounds. Exceptions on a case by case basis. Doggy bags are provided; please pick up and dispose of any waste your dog leaves in the yard, on the private road or on the beach. Barking dogs are not allowed. If you would not allow your dog to run off leash in a dog park due to temperament, this is not the place for you. There are many friendly dogs off leash in the area and on the beach who may approach your dog on leash. br brThis is a non-smoking property. We live in a very active rainforest and want you to be the only guests living in our house.br- No pets. The owner is extremely allergic to cats and dogs.br- Please only open windows with screens installed.br- No outdoor shoes allowed in the house. Bring slippers for indoor use.br- No indoor fires please. The indoor fireplace is OFF LIMITS for insurance reasons. ($500 fee).br- No cleaning of clams allowed-- it's just too messy!br- No sandy clothes allowed in the house. We have a hot water hose located by the garage to rinse off sand from body and clothes before entering the house.br- No sandy clothes allowed in the washing machine. Rinse off sandy clothes outside with the hot water hose by the garage.br- No going into the hot tub if you are sandy. Rinse off with the hot water hose by the garage.br- Outdoor Campfires allowed only in designated fire pit. Burn only newspaper, cardboard, kindling, and logs in the fire pit. (No burning of garbage, liquids or any other materials).br- 10 guests allowed including infants. Each additional guest whether approved or not will be an additional $100/night.br- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed on property. (No parties or events).br- A baby gate is installed at the base of the stairs going to the second floor. No children under 3 allowed upstairs without parental supervision. (This is due to the railing that overlooks the whole first floor common area which poses a temptation risk for toddlers to stick their head through the railings). br- Use caution along the perch because of the steep cliff. Small children not allowed along the cliff line without close parental supervision.br- To walk to the beach use the Ocean Crest Resort stairs, located just two blocks to the north of the driveway. The cliff trail going down to the beach is off limits. It is not safe. Anyone using that trail is using it at their own risk.
