When we are around, we welcome individual or group travelers. You have a shower room and a restroom as 2 separate rooms. No toilet in the shower room.brbrNotes: the guest unit only includes a mini kitchenette (coffee maker, microwave, toaster, egg boiler, small fridge), but no kitchen sink.brSince the house is built since 1970s, it is not sound proof, but we are all very quiet and respectful people.brWe used to have normal keyed lock in our rooms to protect your belongings in case of break-in. However, a few guests lost keys and need to pay $90-100 for emergency door open. We now upgrade all rooms with keypad for your peace of mind. brNot suitable for big families gathering, heavy cooking, elderly or wheelchair. The house has central heater (no AC), but it’s usually more chill in certain part of the house, so we provide space heater in every room.

Just up the hill from Carillon Point, this lower level, private apartment is in a house in the high end neighborhood of Houghton in South Kirkland. It is one block from a 6 mile trail. You'll love the place with its quiet location and beautiful garden entrance. The apartment is 1200 square feet 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath with large living/dining space, plus a 200 sf private, covered patio space with beautiful views of Lake Washington, Olympic Mountains, and the Seattle skyline in the distance. It has a small, but cute and functional kitchenette with new compact appliances (no dishwasher, disposal). There is a strict quiet hours policy from 10pm - 6 am. brbr I have one dog that has zero access to the unit, but has free reign of the fenced backyard. He is occasionally active from 6:00 am, but quiet hours apply to them too. He will bark when I come home via the garage and when someone knocks on my front door, but downstairs guests are mostly ignored.brbrWhite Honda Ridgeline Truck (see photo in parking ) available to rent via Turo.
