The huge windows with ocean views, vaulted ceilings, open concept, and small, quiet, gated road make this home memorable and swanky.brbrView wildlife from the vast expanse of windows with sweeping ocean views: deer, coyotes, and bald eagles are common visitors and seen nearly daily.brbrThe house is less than five years old and is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family. It is second tier ocean front which means there is a home between it and the ocean as shown in the photos. The main living space is on the second floor which requires a longer than average flight of stairs to climb but the views up top are worth it. The clean and open concept layout along with tall, vaulted ceilings, encourages making memories and togetherness. The modern home accommodates 6 people perfectly and could accommodate more but may feel a bit full. Lots of natural light with ocean views from the main living spaces and primary bedroom. There is a back deck to enjoy the morning sun which has territorial (non-ocean) views and where you'll find a BBQ for evening grilling and beverages.brbrIn the primary suite, fall asleep or snuggle your loved one while star-gazing a glittering dark, night sky with a background of crashing waves and wake up rested to sparkling ocean waters.brbrThe second bedroom contains three beds: full-size bunkbeds (both top and bottom are full/doubles) and a twin sized trundle.brbrThe kitchen is fully appointed with all the necessities and more. If you like to cook, this kitchen and its brand-new appliances are top notch, especially with a glass of wine at sunset, which fills the room in a warm glow. The open concept encourages gathering to eat, share, laugh, and make memories that will last a lifetime.brbrIf you are booking with children, please note there are safety risks associated with this home: no outlet plug covers, exposed blind strings, cleaning supplies are kept in lower, unlocked cabinets, and several windows on the second story do not have screens. There is a long flight of stairs that must be climbed to reach the main living space. There is no gate at the top of the stairs.brbrIf you are looking to stay with a pet, please message us prior to booking to discuss options. Size and breed limitations exist. Pets are not allowed on any furniture; a pet bed will be provided. Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of properly and pets must be leashed at all times while outside. We sleep a maximum of 8 guests and are dog friendly (first with a brief discussion of your 4-legged friend). brbrThe layout of Sea Esta Shores -brbrYou enter the home on the lower level. This floor has two large bedrooms, a 3/4 bath and a laundry room with washer/dryer and utility sink. One bedroom has a queen bed and the second has two twins and a full bed.brbrThe main level of the home is where the magic happens. The master bedroom has a king bedroom and a wall of windows looking out to the ocean. Not a bad view to fall asleep and wake up to - nothing but sweet dreams at Sea Esta Shores.brbrThe living space is very open with 15 feet tall, vaulted ceilings and windows galore to keep an eye on Miss Pacific. Whether you are in the kitchen, enjoying a meal at the dining room, a snack at the kitchen counter or lounging in the living - finding a seat with a view won't be an issue.brbrThe kitchen has been completely updated with new countertops, resurfaced cabinets, new appliances and all new dishes, pots/pans and utensils. You'll find all the gadgets of home and maybe a few more.brbrThe dining room has a spacious oceanside table and doubles for a card or game table.brbrThe living room has a 55-inch ROKU SMART TV with 70 channels on YouTube TV. Or use your Amazon, Netflix or other streaming apps. There is also a DVD player with a good selection of movies. The deck features a dining table, charcoal BBQ grill, bench seating, Adirondack chairs, hammock chair and a cozy porch swing for watching those sunsets. The dog can be let out by going from the stairs of the deck directly to a fenced turnout area for the dogs. The beach path is also accessible from the deck. The easily accessible path leads to a very nice section of the beach - one of the best places to razor clam (during approved clam digs). The ocean views from the deck are fantastic!brbrBeach Access -brbrA private trail leads you to the beach - the trail is well maintained and is a short and easy walk. brbrWell Behaved Dogs Considered -brbrIf you are considering bringing your dog, please contact us to discuss. We have a gated enclosed outdoor dog turnout, and the main floor deck is gated to keep the 4-legged ones contained. The pet fee is $25 for 1 or 2 dogs. This area can be accessed by either of two sets of stairs from the oceanside deck - very convenient to let the dog in and out. ABOUT CAPTAIN MIKE'S SNUG HARBORbrbrWhen you step inside, you'll see why this is such a special house. The cozy living room includes a futon (which can open to sleep a guest), two armchairs, a large picture window, fireplace, TV and a small book library.brbrThe bright and airy kitchen includes a large picture window, double sink and all major appliances. In addition, you'll find all the pots, pans and dinnerware you'll need to whip up meals for you and your guests. The dining table easily accommodates six. However, the table can be expanded to eight using a leaf that is stored in the hall closet.brbrThere are three bedrooms in this unit. On the first floor, bedrooms include one with a queen-sized bed and one with a full-sized bed. The second-floor bedroom has a queen and a twin. A full bathroom, with tub and shower, is on the first floor, and in the basement, there is a half bath with a shower. Comfy pillows and all linens are supplied.brbrIn the master bedroom, you will find a Pack-and-Play and a High Chair for child use.brbrThe ocean is a short distance away - just three minutes by car, six minutes by bike, and 15 minutes by foot - with the beach accessible via Whipple Avenue or Warrenton Cannery Road. This beach offers good surf fishing, surfing, boogie boarding and swimming, although the water is cold. Wetsuits and boards can be rented at the Surf Shop in Westport. From two to four hours after high tide, there is a very nice tide pool for children whose parents don't want them in the surf. By car, the Tokeland Marina is just seven minutes south and the Westport Marina is 20 minutes north.
