We are the end building closest to the Bear Cub Trail. This is a TRUE ski in ski out condo. Ski out your own back door right down to the Bear Peak Lodge (2 access trails to Bear Mountain- one easy trail and one intermediate trail. (These 2 trails access Bear Mountain and are open in the season way before the Sunrise Trail lift opens -where most of the other rental condos are located). Then get on the newest highspeed Quad or walk across the street and ski down Upper Sun Dog Trail to the Sunrise Mountain Lift which connects to the Bear Mountain Trail. The Sunrise lift is free of charge, so beginners can try it out for free without having to pay for a lift ticket. Plenty of ski practice with no charge. After a long day of skiing enjoy the hot tub on the deck with breathtaking views of Bear Peak. Then go into the Sauna to warm up a bit. (ONE OF THE ONLY CONDOS WITH A PRIVATE SAUNA IN KILLINGTON). The Living room (with cathedral ceiling)/Dining room combination is great for entertaining or just watching TV or a movie on the High Def. 50' Samsung 4K TV. Depending on which TV, either click INPUT, INPUT NUMBER or SOURCE or PROGRAM on the remote or on the side edge of the TV.brbrTRAVEL:brThe address is Trail Creek Condominiums, 532 East Mountain Road (for unit 26), Killington, VT 05751. From New York City, I like to take 87 all the way to exit 20, then Route 149, then eventually Route 4 through Rutland to Killington. I find it to be a smooth, easy drive compared to all alternatives. Once at Killington, you will see Killington Road (AKA “The Killington Access Road”) that has all the main restaurants, night spots, and ski stores as you drive up toward the mountain. Just before the Snowshed base area, turn left onto East Mountain Road. Then Trail Creek is just a one-minute drive along East Mountain Road -- it is about the 2nd driveway on the right after The Grand Hotel. After you turn right into the Trail Creek driveway:brbr* For unit 26 (2 bedroom condo), go straight towards the upper parking area, grab the first free parking spot. Walk past the firewood shed (with the pool area on your left). Unit 26 will be one of the first units you see on your right as you walk down the path. To help with luggage, feel free to use one of the many big carts / trolleys around the grounds to load / unload your items.brUltimately, feel free to park anywhere in the lot. There is no limit to the number of cars you may bring. brbrELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING:brThere are multiple destination chargers in the upper parking lot of Snowshed base or the nearby golf club (which are 5 mins walk away from Trail Creek; see the official Tesla map). If you want to top up before heading up to Killington, use the Rutland Supercharger, or just leave your Tesla plugged in overnight at the destination charger whenever needed. Unfortunately, I can’t vouch for any non-Tesla chargers due to reliability concerns.brbrCHECK-IN:br* Standard check-in time is 5PM.br* Digital smart locks are installed. You will get an email with the passcode as part of your booking confirmation message. Wait for the beeps before turning the handle or try the handle again if it doesn't engage the first time. The code is your personal code; it will work during your stay only.br* Trash and recycle bins are next to the sink.. Please discard full garbage bags in the dumpsters behind the maintenance shed across the main parking lot (near the main road).br* Thermostat for the living room is built into the gas heater itself (flip open the flap) and bedrooms have wall thermostats. If the gas room heater ever flashes 99 it means snow needs to be cleared away from the exhaust pipe outside (directly behind the heater wall).br* Sofa bed: Extra sheets and blankets should be in closets/walk-in closet, or let me know if not.br* You can use the carts scattered around the grounds to help move things around more easily (e.g. luggage, or trash when leaving).brbrCHECK-OUT:br* Standard check-out time is 11AM.br* Please throw the last dirty dishes into the machine with a soap pellet (not the green liquid) and switch it on when you check-out. No need to put them away but please minimize dirty dishes left lying around.br* Place all used towels in showed/tubbr* Sofa bed: Please remove soiled sheets from the sofa bed mattress except the padded “mattress pad” (leave the mattress pad on the mattress). All other soiled sheets for regular beds will be noticed by the cleaning crew, so nothing special needed there.br* Filled garbage and recycling bags can be disposed of at the dumpsters behind the maintenance shed across the parking lot. You can use the carts if it helps.br* Please turn off any ceiling fans. (use the pull-chains, since the wall switches have no effect).br* Standard check-out is 11am, but feel free to use the pool/ hot tub area and changing rooms after vacating the condo and loading the car with luggage, then skiing (or biking), to in effect extend your stay and get the benefit of a shower and a place to get changed or relax.
