Entrance is right on HWY 89, tucked up under towering ponderosa pines, Whispering Pines Properties presents a luxurious step back in time. Originally built in 1960 by Tom Haycock, this ranchers cabin has been updated with all the comforts of a five

Alton, Utah, United States

Whether your Family is looking for the adventure of Zion National Park or the beauty of Bryce Canyon, you'll need a place to relax at the end of the day. Whispering Pines is easily accessed off 89, but built away from the beaten path, surrounded by some of Utah's most breathtaking scenery. Hiking, biking, and skiing are all within minutes of our convenient location.brbrThis beautiful ranch house sits on 250 of the most breath taking acres. Yes, you came to visit the parks, but you will find your fondest memories coming from our property. The cabin is approximate 1000 sf with 3 bedrooms, 1 large loft with 5 beds and 1 full bath. Nice kitchen with quality appliances, a large outdoor grill. Sitting area with fireplace great for reading or relaxing. Patio furniture and hammock swings. Air conditioning and heat. Washer and Dryer. brbr(Fun History) 2016, Dr. Robert Barrick and Family of 6 kids left their 6000 sqft mansion on the golf course in Cedar City, and moved into this cabin in the summer of 2016. At the time, it only had one bedroom and a loft. With a record breaking winter (Ave of 5 ft of snow) the Barricks grew close as a family and learned how to do hard things. Their story reminded them of the Beverley Hillbillies but in reverse, so one night, they wrote this song. (look up my wife's blog on zions hillbilies).brFrom their generator shed burning down to their daughter being attacked by a bear, the Barricks had a year to remember. Each feature of the cabin tells a story of it's exciting history. (Example) the master bed was made from the fire scared panels of the burnt down shed. brThe cabin is adorned with local art including a painting from the owner. brbrAs you sit and watch the deer peacefully graze out into the meadow, you can hear the wind whisper through the pines. Listen closely and you will hear Ol' Tom Haycock welcoming you to his cherished valley.

Seven Oaks Cabin” Near Duck Creek Village, Utah. Zion and Bryce Nearby!

Alton, Utah, United States

Come and enjoy our beautiful 2800 sq. ft. cabin in Duck Creek Village. Located in Elk Ridge Estates, this two story, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom cabin is located on 4.5 acres approximately 15 minutes from downtown Duck Creek Village. Our cabin has a rustic decor and feel, with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking trees and meadows. Wildlife viewing from the deck is incredible, with the occasional elk, numerous deer, wild turkey, and bird watching galore during the summer and fall! With a full deck across the back of the cabin to enjoy the views, there's no better place for coffee in the morning, or a beverage of your choice in the evening. brbrThe cabin is centrally located in south-west Utah, with some of the world's most scenic national and state parks for hiking and sightseeing, to include Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park located 37 miles away in either direction. For those of you that fish, there are four lakes (Aspen Mirror Lake, Duck Creek Pond, Navajo Lake and Panguitch Lake) located between 16 and 28 miles away. For the skiers and snow boarders (in the winter) and mountain bikers (in the summer), Brian Head Summer and Ski resort is located 37 miles away. On top of all of this, there is approximatley 600 miles of designated trails for snowmobilers in the winter, and ATV's/UTV's in the summer. And for those of you that don't own your own machines, there are plenty to rent in Duck Creek Village! And with Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon within a reasonable distance, a day trip to either can be a great adventure as well. brbrThe cabin itself is set up to help you relax and enjoy you time in your home away from home. It has a large living room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, large kitchen, and a dining room table to seat 8. The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances, but also includes both a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee coffee makers, a blender, mixer, and crock pot. The master bedroom is also located on the main level, and includes a king size bed, 54 flat screen TV, and large master bath with a jacuzzi tub. The lower level of the cabin includes a large family room with seating for 12, a wood-burning stove and a 75 flat screen TV, and 3 additional bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room (front loading washer and dryer). The bedrooms include one bedroom with a king size bed and flat screen TV, another bedroom with a queen size bed and flat screen TV, and the third bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. With central heat, air conditioning, two wood burning stoves , and ceiling fans throughout the cabin, you will always be comfortable. The cabin also has plenty of parking for vehicles and ATV's.br brThe cabin's location has year round access, as the Elk Ridge Estates is a paved community. And although ATV's and UTV's have access to the Dixie National Forest and its trail system, you won't have to experience ATV's racing up and down a dirt road in front of your home, kicking up dust and making too much noise. However, due to the location of our cabin and the driveway to the cabin, 4-wheel drive and/or chains for your vehicle are highly recommended in the winter due to the snow (the gravel driveway is easily traversed by car any other time of year).brbrCome and enjoy the Seven Oaks experience. We believe you won't find another cabin like it! Hope to hear from you soon!brbr
